This is my 7th trip to the dam and have had it booked since march and had planned the trip to a tee by using this site as a reference guide and others to make a map of the BEST coffeeshops to visit and also a list of all the top smokes i wanted to try and where to get them. All the other times ive been we have ended up walking around sleezeville contantly and never ventured out to visit anywhere else.
Needless to say i forgot the lists and maps. (stoner me) Fucking tipical.

Day 1.

We flew from Leeds airport with jet 2.
Cost of flight - average £70, 8 travelling. Was 18 but 10 dropped out.
We left in mini bus at 13.30 having a few (pityfull) joints on the way to the airport and a few cans.
Everyone checked in ok and we went to the departures lounge.
Flight delayed - nightmare.
Flight was only delayed 30 mins so some of the lads decided to go back and have another pint. I was telling them not to cos we could be boarding at anytime. Im pleased they did cos i dropped my bank card in the bar we were in and was more than happy to get it back off a helpful barman. (stupid me)
Airborn at 18:30 and we all enjoyed a laugh at Kev who is shit scared of flying.
Landed 45 mins later and arrived in central station after a free train ride by 9:15 pm.
We had the usual paranoia crossing the road outside central station (trams, cars, buses and the deadly bikes) and made our way to our hotel/apartments
We stayed at the greenhouse effect (i recommend this to any body)
We checked in and i made my way into the Greenhouse effect coffeeshop for 2 grams of NYC Diesel and a gram of super silver haze, then crossed the street and put our bags in.
We had the delux suite and the other lads had the delft appartment.

The deluxe is directly opposite the coffeeshop/bar and above Hill Street Blues and the Delft was at the other side of the redlight distict on the market square also was above a Hill street blues.
Both digs was awesome, especially for the price. If stayed in some proper flee pits on previous trips for not much less than we payed to stay here.

Back to the friday night. So bags in digs, passports in safe and 300 euros in my sky rocket to gan at.
I phoned Metz (birthday boy) to see where to meet up. We decided to meet up at the Bulldog Mack as its easy to find and there was seats available outside.
So i got a small beer and rolled a pure joint of Diesel that i had purchased
earlier when checking in to the greenhouse effect.
Very Very tasty buds. I went back 3 times more for .....well MORE.
While smoking the joint i started to hack a lung up and felt as if i could spew at any second but i got over it and made a joint of the Super Sliver Haze which i found to be disapointingly average.
Metz sent Fuzz and Stu off some pre rolled shite as he didnt bring his mat. I repeatedly told him to buy a deal and i would knock them up but he insisted on buying pre-rolled and i must have smoked 25 "joints" (over the weekend) untill i told him to stop passing them to me cos they were shite. They smelt like ducardos tabs from spain. They must have shade leaf and no buds and the cheepest tobacco in them. In previous trips we had smoked some decent pre rolled but now they are 100% crap. Some of them were 8 euros!!!! He should know better.
Next stop the old church for some hash.
We couldnt get my favorite seats in the window upstairs (watched someone get mugged for his watch from there before lol ) so i just bought some of one of my fav hashes what is Royal Creme and we went at met up with the rest of the lads in Stones. I am the only real 100% stoner so the trip was more alcohol orientated and i had to try and visit coffeeshop then a place that sells beer or even better a place that sells beer and allows you to smoke.
I hated going into a bar where i couldnt smoke so i used this time to visit grow room and eat cakes.
Everyone who went smokes weed but they didnt want to be doing it constantly as i was lol.
Smoking Bull next. Im gutted these stopped selling weed cos they had some awesome gear but still were allowed to smoke and we all agreed that this is a good place to come if you are in a big group.
Next was Hunters Bar. Again no beer. While i was buying some Temple Ball and some Lavender (both average) metz bought 4 cans of red bull cos it was his round and it came to 18 euros!!!! So we left. Used to like it in there but thats bullshit and it used to have one of the best menus, he had perhaps 6 weeds and 4 hashes tops. Keep out.
We went to Greenhouse Effect bar so the lads could have a stiff drink to get over the shock of 18 euros for 4 red bull. 2 euros a pint in the Greenhouse Effect. Maybe we were getting discount for staying there.
Fuzz got a bong out and started making bongs out of Super polm he got from Hunters. Now i would be content buying this in england but not in amsterdam and for the price he payed for it. It tasted like dink. Not nice.
Next was a good old walk around the windows since there was some lads who had never been before and its always nice to see there faces light up in the peep show lol.
Next stop the globe sports bar, cant smoke dope in here but they have some nice seats on the canal and i enjoy sitting there watching the boats going by with a nice black hash reefer. Also its a dead end so no scum walking past which is a bonus. I had a scampi fries munchie attack in here .
Next febo for some proper munchie food. Got a burger and it was horrible but i still ate it in 2 bites and got another.
We went to loads more around the redlight but didnt buy anymore gear cos i forgot about the time and i went to get some and all coffeeshops were shut. Fucking ran out of dope in Amsterdam. Nightmare.
I borrowed a bag of hash and some Jack Herrer off Fuzz for the session back at the digs.
It was 3.30am and time for some munch. Everywhere was shut........................exect KFC and Mcdonalds.
KFC it was.
Kev got his 1st. A chicken burger meal.
Lamby got the same.
Lee got 27 hot wings and a tower burger.
I got 27 hot wings and a zinger and a coke lol.
Lee ate almost all of his and i left more than half of mine. If it had no batter on i could have nailed the lot lol. Eyes bigger than my belly.
Me and Lamby stayed up and nailed most of what we had left. Shame i didnt have more hash.
Day 1 - 6 empty bags of grade a weed and 3 empty bags of resin and 2 packets of skins.
Best Weed - NYC Diesel - Greenhouse Effect - The Taste!!!
Worst Weed - Pre-rolled - everywhere.
Best Place That You Can Get Beer And Smoke Gear - Stones
Best Chilling Place - In big window in a place i think was called route 66 bang in the red light, opposite brothels just down from the red light bar.
Best Cake - Greenhouse Effect - €4 - Banana or Chocolate - Moist and loads of icing. Yum. Get 2 for after your supper lol. Work a treat.
Worst Cake - Babas - Proper little tourist trap - Dry and tastless - no effect.
Cheapest Beer - Greenhouse effect again €2 a large beer!!!!!!!.
Best Crack of the Day - Lee saying to Lamby after i already gave him some of my hotwings,
"You can have some of this chicken if you want Lamby" said Lee.
"Ive got one here" said Lamby
"What? Youve got one ear?" said Lee
"How do u keep your glasses on?"
We all cried with laughter.

Day 2

Our apartment was actually 3 flights of stairs up plus another flight to the bedroom and if somebody walked past on the street below and farted you would hear it. It is because of the old windows, so imagine the racket that goes on when the bin men come round to empty the bins full of empty bottles off the boozers. It was like been stuck in the middle of a chelsea - millwall game in the 80s. I dont know what time this happened but not long after the street sweeping trucks were out and then the church bells cut in so a lie in really isnt an option lol.

So we got up, showered and had a few reefers while watching the TV. Then popped over the shop and replaced some of the mini bar that got nailed the night before.

Phoned the other group of lads and went to meet them in good old stones bar as they had already had a breakfast. We just ordered some juice and had a few more joints before heading to the Leidseplein.

On our way there we popped into McDonalds for some cheese burgers.
One of the lads ordered his and got one and was told to wait and he would bring it over. After 15 mins of waiting we fucked it off and were on our way. Walked too far down a street and got a bit lost but we quickly found it and went in the Irish bar.

I dont drink Guiness but it looked like good gear lol.
This bloke turned up who looked like a cross between Rod Hull and Noddy Holder and shouted its show time and started singing and playing a guitar.
Now the "beer garden" is massive so he had a lot of people to sing to so no word of a lie he sung Mrs Robinson for 14 mins walking around.
We were stoned and were laughing our heads off at him cos he was going up to people and singing in their ears, he even wanted to get someones mobile off them to sing into lol.
He was crack. I gave him a euro lol.
Then i spotted Get Down To It.
Since they had had a pint it was time for a coffeeshop. Its only fair.
Internet available. Think it cost me €2 for 20 mins but all i wanted to do is print the map of coffeeshops i wanted to visit off here and hopefully remember the gear i wanted to try.
I bought a gram of Super Super Polm and this was perhaps the tastiest, best smelling hash i tried (and i tried a lot) all 4 days and rolled a nice joint before i came on the net.
The whole coffeeshop was full of a beautiful smell off this hash. People looked around and asked what hash we were smoking so they could try.
Was stoned off this gear. I noticed a pin ball machine and give it a blast.
I got right into it.
100% concentration off this gear. I was in the zone. Scored a massive 2 billion points lol.
We moved on.

We kept well away from the bulldog here cos its a rip. TOO expensive.
Went to sport bar on the corner and had a beer.

Soon the lads wanted a peep so the inevitable happened and we stared heading back to the red light as we wanted to get back to the sports bar just up from stones cafe as they had the rugby on and its a canny bar.
Called into Dampkring.
Nice weed and a good menu. It repeatedly got Oceans 12 scene repeated on TVs which is a bit cheesy.
Got some good old Diesel. It was beautiful. Cant go wrong with that stuff.
I over heard the other bud tender that the Moonshine was 90% thc so i had a gram of that stuff.
This stuff made me hack my lungs up. The smoke bellowed off it like car tires were on fire. It smelt and tasted amazing. It was €40 for a gram which was crazy but i had to try it but in my opinion the rifman hash was better value for money and it was perhaps more tasty (creamy)
I got 3g of the Rifman hash but i cant remember the name of it. It was black squiggy but i had asked the budtender for the tastiest hash and as far as know he delivered.

Smart Shop next stop for a little pipe for the hash cos you waste a shit load of smoke in joints.
Next Abraxas.
Was stoned now off the hash.
Got some apple something. Cant remember sorry.
Next Greenhouse Centrum for some Great White Shark.
I had no complaints off the lads with a joint of this.
Next sports bar for the rugby.
I had a quick count up of the dosh i had left and needed the bank!!.
Done £200 in on dope in 15 hours lol.
I had a nice shirt pocket full of gear. It was even heavy lol.
The rest of the after noon was the usual redlight bar/coffeshop crawl and at 5pm we decided to go to the rooms and have an hour before turning out again at 7.
I was out of Diesel so popped into the greenhouse effect and bought 2gm
One of the lads got a space cake. He ate it. He doesnt smoke weed.
We went for 2 kebabs each and then retired to the rooms to munch our bait.
Gorgeous kebabs as always.
The lad who eat the cake fell asleep on couch so i went to the bed room for an hour.
The lad who eat the cake woke me up saying it was time to go out.
His eyes were blood red.
He thought there was mushrooms in the cakes cos he had been that fucked up off them while i was asleep upstairs. I rolled a diesel and laughed at him for a while he decided the mushrooms must have been in the kebabs and not the cakes.
Again i laughed my head off at him, reassuring him he was just stoned as his pupil were not massive and his eyes were like a china mans.
I rolled another spliff as people were lingering on getting ready.
Cake boy then decided the mushrooms were in the chilli and garlic he had on his kebab. I was in stitches now.
Only 3 of us turned out as cake boy was too stoned.
We met up with the other 4 and had a great night in the red light district in Amsterdam smoking the GOOD SHIT we had purchased earlier in the day.
We were in the old church at some point and 4 of us had a special shake.
In it she put 2 bannanas, chocolate milk and 2 massive buds of Jack Herrer.
This was way too much to drink. It was the size. large milkshake from maccy ds. Left half. Get 1 and share is my advice but they were not particually tasty so maybe try somewhere else. Atleast u can see how much gear is going in unlike most of the rip off cakes knocking about.

I went back to digs around 2am with a chocolate cake and a banana cake from greenhouse effect since Cake Boy recommeded them.
Smoked on back in digs until 4.30ish. I had been dosing off when the cakes cut in. BUY CAKES FROM GREENHOUSE EFFECT.

Best Coffeeshop - Get Down To It - Nice size - Internet - Pinball - Spacious - Nice Hash.
Best Boozer - Sports bar on warmoesstrat for the footie and ruga
Best Cake - GHE
Best Resin - Super super polm from get down to it.
Best Weed - NYC Diesel - Dampkring
I never bought anything and neither did any of the lads that was a rip off or shite gear. €40 euros for a gram felt like a kick in the balls after it was smoked like. That was the moonshine but if something is €40 a gram ive got to have a try lol.

Cake boy sounds a proper hoot mate! Mushrooms in the cake, no... the kebab... NO .... in the chili and garlic!! hahaha, LEGEND!! Comedy gold, that!

Day 3.

Awoke around 9am so the sound of church bells and got showered ect and sat smoking in the "living room", waiting for the lads to get ready.

This was the best day.

We all met in the sports bar for a spot of breakfast. By the way the bar staff were thick as fuck in here. Everything took ages. The breakfasts arrived after 50 mins or so and the fried eggs were black and the texture of rubber. We ate everything else apart from a fried egg i kept because i thought it would be funny to sly a fried egg into lambys jacket pocket.
Stu and i were laughing our heads off as we were discussing the idea and what his reaction would be when he discovered there was a fried egg in his pocket.
By the way our THC levels were through the roof by now and everything was funny.
I wanted to go and visit some of the coffeeshops off the map i had done but most of the lads wanted to stay and watch the shitty Sunderland match in the sports bar so only me and fuzz ventured on a coffeeshop crawl.
I stopped at a bank because i knew i was going to buy a shitload of nice gear today and also get my "presents" for myself to bring home with me.

1st stop - Grey Area. Now this was top of my list to visit after reading reviews. I wasnt disapointed. I recognised the budtender from you tube and asked him about his Grey Mist Crystals. I bought 5g for €70 i think. I also asked him for his tastiest buds and he recommended the Grey Berry.
Grey Mist Crystals are awesome and its goes a long way. The grey berry is pretty god damn tasty also.
We used the volcano vape which sadly had and o-ring or sumik missing at took ages to fill the bag. Never the less the taste off these things are awesome. I cough like fuck off pipes and even bongs but can handle a full lung of this stuff without hacking my lungs up untill i spew lol.
We had a spliff of grey berry and crystals while Fuzz knocked up a few more vapes. Offered some vapes around the shop for people but most declined as i think they didnt understand our accent. Some Italian guys had a blast and an American. Both enjoyed lol. Also got some Cheese and will tell you about this later. I spent €100 in here.
The grey mist crystals actually make your tongue go numb if you put a shitload in a joint and if you do this you will be fucked - class. I love these little things.

Next stop Abraxas. We were stoned by now and since i had a shopping list in my head of what i wanted i decided to ask the budtender for his tasiest hash. He recommended the Creme De Maroc. I ordered 3g for around €35.
The lump the budtender chopped my deal off from was a perfect bullet shape like the stuff i have smoked at Euro 2004 in Porugal so i was dying to try it.
On examining the hash this stuff almost sweats resin. Top hash this stuff. Recommended. Creamy creamy niceness.

Next top was Chocolata.
Cant remember what i got but it was a nice smoke (hash again) and we moved on.

Rokerij - 3g dunya. Very Nice.

Resin - Just bought some more tasty resin.

Popeyes - more resin

Pink Floyd - White Widdow. This was cheep and also very nice stuff. Nice place.

Then Greenhouse. Got Ariens Haze 1. Seen this on you tube and was expecting more from it. Average. Nice coffeeshop and buy a smoothy or a hot chocolate if you go and mix in some grey mist cystals. Nice fish tank in the floor also.

Now Barneys.
Walked in the American bloke asked us for Id. Now it was the fact he said he was checking ID on under 30s that pissed me off. I was going to buy €100 of barney rubble to bring home but this bloke was on some sort of "power trip" and fucked us off.
I wont be back.

Feeling shit-on by the bloke in Barneys we decided to headback to see the lads.
Kev decided he wanted to get stoned so Fuzz bought a massive blueberry blunt skin and we knocked up the most potent reefer off the trip in Smoking bull.
This had about 6g of weed in and some pollen and a generous sprinkling of grey mist crystals in it. it was a beast. We smoked it and passed it around maybe 6 of us were smoking it.
after the reefer we went for a walk around the red light.
We were all pissing our selves laughing at anything. Especially Kev.
Sunday night was a bit of a blur and i think we were all back at the digs in time for match of the day. We smoked on then untill 3.30am. Had a cake run and a kebab run also.
I had 16 empty bags before i went to bed.


Day 4. We awoke and got out the apartment for 11 and left our bags in the greenhouse effect bar as we werent flying untill 8pm.
Stones cafe for breakfast and smoke.
The cannabis collage for a look.
Basically we just nailed all the weed we had left as i was too skitz about bringing smeely weed back home. Resin can be stashed.
So anyway the flights was ok. Security was a nightmare in Holland. Was lucky and got home with my presents.
I wont be bringing any home again as it wasnt worth the paranoia and stress.

What a trip. Going back again 21st december.


So Best Weed of the entire trip.
I found on this trip the standard of weed to be average. If you go to Amsterdam dont expect for every strain you buy to be top knotch because this not the case. Only 2 strains of weed stood out head and shoulders above the rest meaning usually the stuff i get at home is on par with the vast majority of the weed in Amsterdam. Obviously i dont have the choice of strains ect.

1 - Cheese from Grey Area. AWESOME
2 - NYC Diesel from Dampkring. Greenhouse Effect Diesel is worth a mention.

Best Cakes - Greenhouse Effect by a mile. Dont even bother with any one elses cakes.

Best bar - Stones

Best coffeeshop - Grey Area

Best Hash -1 Super Super polm from Get Down to it - 2 Creme De Marroc - Abraxis.

Best Menu - Dampkring

Worst Coffeeshop - Barneys for the power trip budtender.

Most over priced coffeeshop - Hunters

Cheapest Beer - Greenhouse Effect

Best Kebabs - just down from Hunters.

Best Overall Gear - Grey Mist Crystals

Also worth a mention that Greenhouse effect apartments are the best place ive stopped in 7 dam trips and their discount makes it even more worth while.

Spent £700. probably £450 on the good stuff. Smoked 20 deals and the rest come home.
Best trip yet.

noticed they fixed kitchen window in the delft apartment.
great wee pad i had the bedroom downstairs all to myself or room with a curtain is more precise but would recommend it to any1,mates had to negotiate the dodgy stairs to get up to there beds great for getting up in the morning & checking out the market while having a green breakfast

im not a big drinker, but its always great to hear where you can get a beer from, i usually only drink one or two pints each day whilst out in a'dam. but a good vibe is always needed

Lol, Cheers mate. My memory is quite good but i did forget quite a lot of the the trip especially Day 3 after the Volcanoes and the Kif. Ive lost about 5 hours but that was just visiting the usual coffeeshop/boozers in Sleazeville Aka Redlight District.
I remembered most places we were in by the photos i took and the ganja i bought.
Just got my bank statement through today. Looks like i went again on the Sunday!!!.

Cheers, The other lads had the Delft, this was the only time i was in it. I think one of the windows was cracked but everything was clean and thats all you can ask for, for the price and location.........fantastic.

Wow, I thought I spoke English but I'm not so sure after reading some of these trip reports from the Brits. No disrespect meant, your slang is just a bit different than over here. I've still got 306 days to wait so I'll just have to keep reading reports. Keep on smokin'.
