Inspired by a comment Twitch made about having smoked for 40+ years in the 'first time' thread, it got me to thinking (dangerous that, lock up yer windows and doors) ... I know alot of people who got to around 30 and decided smoking hash wasn't for them... it seems to be either just before 30, or shortly after they give it up for good...
Is there some sort of phenomenon out there surrounding the age 30 or d'ya think it's down to folk getting freaked out that they've hit their 30th birthday and aren't nearly anywhere near where they thought they would be come that time? (and subsequently blaming the hash smoking for them laying about for the last 15+ years??
Maybe not the best place to ask this, considering there's many pot smokers over the age of 30 on this forum who're probably scratching their head and thinking "what?" but it's something I've always wondered about ... what makes someone smoke regularly for years and years and what makes someone decide after said years and years of regular use that it just isn't for them? I'm not too far away from the 'magic' number myself, think I'll just hit double time in case it happens to me
Yer thoughts....
