if there that concerned about banning smoking then why do they not stop producing ciggys etc?

a while ago i was at a bus stop & as you know your not allowed to smoke inside the bus stop, when a grumpy old lady came into the stop & i was having a fly smoke which angered her,she barked at me that your not allowed to smoke inside so i said "is it ok to smoke outside?",she replied "yes" so i went outside,UPWIND of said stop therefore smoke was bellowing inside the shelter to the dismay of the grumpy old cow.
she then came outside to let me know my smoke was entering the shelter(as if i didnt know
)asked me to put out ciggy so i did as was nearly finished but light up another 1 right away,then unbelievably she flagged down a police car & was telling them the situation which you could tell they were not really interested in but tried to reason with me not to smoke on the side i was smokin at as it was entering the shelter but i told them im within the law smoking outside the shelter & would not stop smoking or even move,they agreed i was in the right & told the old bat so she then stood outside the shelter so i promtly put my fag out & went back inside too sit down.

At the end of the day, she asked you to move outside and you did... had she been a bit nicer about it then maybe you might have moved a little further outside, I love my old biddies, really I do ... but the cantankerous old women that are angry for no or little reason do my head in. Flagging down the polis and everything, fucking ridiculous and no need at all.
While I'm here, did you know that old folk that have a home help/carer type person in their home, aren't allowed to smoke for 2 hours before the help comes and during the help's visit???? EXCUSE ME!? Did I miss something or, at last check, did our old folks not fight a war and put up with ALOT of pish? Not to mention it's their house, let 'em smoke where they please...
Same goes for us, if you have workmen coming out (to fix yer boiler for example) you aren't allowed to smoke IN YOUR OWN HOME for 1 hour before their visit and the duration of their visit ... so if you're getting extensive work done and the company may need access for a whole working day (or more) then potentially the company doing the work can take up legal action against you for you smoking in your own home... YOUR OWN HOME!

While I'm here, did you know that old folk that have a home help/carer type person in their home, aren't allowed to smoke for 2 hours before the help comes and during the help's visit???? EXCUSE ME!? Did I miss something or, at last check, did our old folks not fight a war and put up with ALOT of pish? Not to mention it's their house, let 'em smoke where they please...
