Buying larger amounts

I have heard that you can buy larger amounts (larger than 5g) outisde of Amsterdam. Is this true? 5 of us will be heading from Amsterdam to Haarlem next month and planning on going ot Willie Wortels. On the pictures of the menu i have seen they are small amounts of weed. Can you ask them o supply you with larger amounts (30 - 50g)?

aye man. you can buy as much as you like. the 5g rule is just in amsterdam.

WRONG! you CANT not buy more then 5gr ANYWHERE in holland!
the CS will not sell you more then 5g and that all over holland!
but if you look like me or if you a local some SC will.
they do not trust the tourist because any tourist in the past
got away from the find the police give out for having more then 5g in same baggy! by telling where they got it from!

iv got a ticket for smoking in vondel park walking back to my hostel and police told me that i shouldnt walk around wit more then 10g because i can get an other ticket for that
nice night 250euro for smoking a joint in a park

i payed it so i have no problem goin back to holland

Contrary to Adamsters reply, I've found from personal experience that quite a few Amsterdam coffeeshops will sell you more than 5g at a time if you're cool about it and don't go showing it all off. Stick it in your pocket and take it straight back to your hotel. You'll only get hassled by the Dutch cops if you're drunk and loud. And don't forget - if there are 5 of you in the group, that's a minimum of 5g each you can buy everywhere and anywhere.
