New Years Day

Post by bigbomb »

I'm going over to Amsterdam Christmas / New year. Are any coffeeshops open on Xmas day and New Years day? If so which ones? Any reccomendations for New Year's Eve?

Your in for some madness if you go, from what i've read nobody cares where fireworks are let off, in the middle of a crowd is fair game in Holland.

New Years in Amsterdam is incredible, best I've ever had. If you can, get there!

As stated most places will be open. New years eve will blow your mind. Depending on your tastes there a few options. Last year he went to Dam Square, which was damn full. Tons of people having fun and just standing around in the rain. We decided to get out and walked towards Haalemer Square. EVERYONE is out having a good time, and yes watch out for the fireworks, no place is safe. We ended up stumbling in to Barneys after closing. They werent serving anyhting but we were free to smoke and drink what we had brought with us. HAVE A GREAT TIME
What is this made of?? Babies?!
