Amsterdam Day 2

So I woke up (in something of a daze!!) and realised it was 11.30 and I'd missed breakfast. After popping down into Rookies for a bit of hash (I chose the Afghaan) to put into a pipe, I had a quick blast to get me started. First task - food and a steaming hot cup of tea. I eventually wandered into New York Pizza, deciding it was just as near to lunch as breakfast time and fast food was the order of the day. The pizza itself was delicious but the tea wasn't quite what i was after - no milk, i had to have creamer!

The first c-shop visit of the day was meant to be Grey Area so I walked there, carefully following Lemmings map and managing to pick up an English paper on the way. The walk did me good and cleared my head but as i arrived at Grey Area things looked rather quiet. I tried the door and it was locked shut - they were closed. No problem, I drifted round the corner to Amnesia, which was positively pumping for 12.30 - dance music, lots of chat, almost full. I asked the budtender what was his best weed and he said the Pinneapple Haze was awesome so I bought 2g of that. I found a seat, rolled up a spliff and toked away happily, whilst reading the english newspaper i'd picked up, full of hype about that evenings England-Russia game. The Pinneapple Haze was an excellent smoke - fruity and strong but enjoyable to smoke.

I stayed at Amnesia for a quite a while - I really enjoyed the vibe there - whilst it was quite busy and hectic, there was still a chilled out kind of vibe and everybody had a smile on their face. By then it was 4pm and I wanted to watch the England game at 5pm so I wandered towards The Smoking Bull. I stopped at Wok to Walk and had the most delicious chinese meal that hit the spot perfectly. I then struggled to find Smoking Bull (too much Pinneapple Haze!!) so instead found a spot in Stones Bar near to the big screen. The staff at Stones were friendly and I find it a bnice place to mix beer and ganja and a good place to watch football. Those of you who are English or follow football I don't have to tell you how the game went but at least for me it was comforting to have a couple of Pinneapple Haze spliffs to toke on with my beers.

After the game I went up the road to Hunters, recommended to me on this forum by another matt. The vibe there was laid back and they played some good music. I asked the budtender for his recommendation and he went with Bubble Kush so I took 2g. This stuff was a litttle expensive I thought, but damn I wasn't disappointed - it was great - a strong smoke with a real mellow high - outstanding!

I wanted to watch the Holland game too so I wandered around (stoned to f***) looking for a place showing it. I sauntered into a traditional Dutch Bar (no idea of the name) and got a pint of amstel and sat down with the locals. Half-time and I wasn't sure if I could smoke in there until a big guy cam eover to me with a monster reefer in his hand. "You English?" he said "Here, have a bit of this, bad luck today". It was then I realised this place was toker-friendly (as well as just friendly) and I rolled up and passed the rest of the evening there. Haven't a clue how I made it back to the hotel but I did and made a little short cocktail spliff to send me to sleep.

Hey looks like your doing some good scouting for our crawl!!was that myself that reccomended hunters??Coz i really like it in there but you are rite in saying can be a little dear!!!

Nice report again,I just added Bubble Kush to the ever growing list.And like Moby said,looking forward to the meeting next month
