We got to town and needed some grab for the apartment, 2kilos is alot more than i thought lol


This is Stacy in front of Uma Guma(out of frame) just after midnight NYD, the trash on the ground isnt confetti but what was left from one strip of firecrackers...They were so awesome


Stacy and I at the Absynth bar. We went here a few nights of the trip with a couple West Virginia guys we hooked up with. 50e was all it took to get the 4 of us trashed. Its a shame the trams didnt run that late, but the walk home sure was fun

Ha ha ha. If it wasn't posted on this site I'd think the red eye your showing on the 3rd picture was a camera error, got a feeling that your eyes just might have been that red!!

lol that they were. Forgive my lack of editing. Until you had pointed it out I didnt even know there was red eye in that pic(im color blind and detials like that pass me pretty easy) Ill have to post the pics of me trully red in the eyes.

very interesting pics. if all goes well i will be in amsterdam this time of year.(well within a few weeks..december 17th-21st or 22nd). i will be going to england after to spend the Holidays with relatives and after that tour a few other cities in europe that i have and havent been to. would be nice if i could sneak back to Amsterdam for new years eve.

I have been looking for that Absinthe Bar every trip but never found it, despite reading what canal it was on....even people I asked never knew where the place was.

I actually got to try it for the first time this past new year which was spent in Amsterdam, my friend and I had a shot on new years eve by the RLD which was 80% - we couldn't talk for 5 mins as it was harsh to say the least...so I must remember next time to order another drink to help wash it down as I was unable to say anything last time!!

Some good pics tho. I miss those firecrackers, wouldn't be new year in Amsterdam without them!

The Absinthe Bar is not on a canal. Their address is Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 171, which is less than 1 block from the palace at the Dam.

is it possible to smoke weed in here? because on the review site you write yes, and the one who makes a review about it says no. we are searching for a nice smoker-friendly absinthe-bar in Adam for our holidays

theoretically, if you were to put some isolater in the absinth it should make a green dragon type drink. would that work? ie, order a glass of absinth, sprinkle in some gray mist crystals, leave for 10 mins while stirring, et voila?

Not sure about that ash but i do know they make an absinthe from canibus, never tryed it though.

I don't think the absinthe's a strong enough desiccant for it to work that fast. Probly have to let it sit for a week or 2, or heat it.
