A different trip....

Well, we had planned our trip for next saturday, but since my girl and me have problems at home, we decided tostay away from home for some time, even if it was just 2 days. And which city would be better than Adam to free your mind?
We arrived at 18:00 and tried to find a good hostel. First we stopped at the Flying Pig Hostel in the centrum, but they had no double-rooms left so we went to the Bulldoghotel where a double -room was free and costs only 4€ more than in the flying pig, so we paid the 84€ and went to our room. After arranging our clothes and so on we decided to have our real first night in Amsterdam.
Our first stop was the Mellow Yellow:
We took the Tram 24, which stops almost in front of MY (16 and 25 also stop there).
Bought some Orange Haze for 11€/g and sat upstairs. As always this shop hasmostly young people in it, I dont know why, because its a bit outside of the centre so you would thought many locals should be here, but whenever we visit, there are a few locals downstairs and much more young people from all around the world, not bad though, since me+girl are youngsters as well
The Orange Haze didnt look as incredible as last time, so I only bought 1gr. of it. We didnt put much of it into the joint and it didnt really tasted that great as last time we tried it. After 1 1/2 hours we left and went back to the city.
We walked to different shops, but none of them were full so we decided to go to the Bulldog Coffeeshop next to our Hotel. We went downstairs to have a look on their menu, which wasnt anything special, only the usual strains such as White Widow, Skunk and so on. We decided not to buy anything, sat down and had a hot chocolade with cream, which was good but not as big as the ones you get in Mellow Yellow. We had a 2nd joint of the Orange Haze, this time we put more of it into the joint and it really tasted like Orange this time , I was so happy
After this, we had a small walk through the sex-shops and the red-light-disctrict and went home for a sleep.
The next day we woke up at 9:00 and went to the lounge where the breakfast was ready to be eaten (breakfast is included in the room-price). Nothing special, bread,cheese,sausage,jam and drinks like coffee,milk etc.
We then checked out and wanted to go shopping, but the stores were to open in about 1-2 hours, so we went to the Dampkring (Pink Floyd) to buy some Diesel. We ended up buying around 2g of NYC Diesel for 8,5€/g and Love Potion for 8€/g. The dealer told us, that the Love Potion is a cross with Diesel and something else he didnt knew. The smell is like Diesel, citrus-like, but not that intensive and it looks a bit darker, good quality as always in the Dampkring.
After this we went across the street to the Popeyes and I asked the dealer to show me the Aladins Chocolate, but for me it looked and smelled like any ordinary hash, so I didnt spend any money in this shop, although the amosphere was very nice and the staff was friendly
Will do a smoke report on the Diesel and the Love Potion in the next days (depends on when we smoke the next time )
