She will be having her hip replacement surgery in about four hours.
My mom flew in yesterday and will be stating to help.
Will keep you updated when I can.
She will prob. be coming home Monday

best of luck twitch and ms twitch.. hope all goes well..

my father is getting his hip done as well in march 08... he has told me he wants to go back to amsterdam with me and hopefully this time be able to walk around freely and enjoy much more.. as his hip and knee were very bad last time we went.

once again hope all goes well for ms twitch

I wish you guys all the best, operations are not nice, i recentley had one to repair a broken radius and ulna in my forearm and had metal work put in!!!Once again my best wishes to you guys

The aftercare is where you come in; I went through it a few years back with my Mother.

Lots of tea and sympathy!

Luckily my wife is married to some one who has worked in the health care profession most of his life, and worked in physical therapy for 15 years. ( that would be me. )
She has helped me greatly since my seizures started, and now its my turn to return the favor.

Up and walking allready.
Learning to use her walker and how to get in and out of chair/bed. Whole new learning experience.
Will prob. be home Monday :D :D
