Also on the 20th of April in Amsterdam Noord is the Tibet Benefit festival featuring some great local talent. Advance tics are a better deal then at the door. http://www.ticketfortibet.com/en/ for more info. It will involve taking the free ferry over and back.

I'm in the process of organising arrival on Friday 18th and departure on Tuesday 22nd. Last year I announced here that I'd be in the Nes on the evening of my arrival and we had quite a sizeable gathering. With the forum having been off-air for so long there may be less people in town this year but I think another gathering on Friday evening in the Nes is probably in order. Whadayathink?

Will most likely be in Haarlem on the 18th as I arrive on the 17th.

If I remember correctly we went to Nes about half an hour after the 420
gathering at DeKuli.

That's preatty much what we have been planning on VDF since ACD forum went down.
Hope to see you,
Peace twitch/Rich

It's sorted! We'll definitely be there all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I'm thinking about getting in a wander around the Jordaan and a trip to Haarlem, possibly even Zandvoort if the weather isn't too bad. Other excursions are also possible.

The main event will, of course, be on Sunday when we'll be in de Kuil, probably moving on to Nes later. This is what we've all done for the last two years.

I hope to meet as many of you as possible over the course of the weekend. Thanks for the posting FBN, are you not going to be there yourself this year? Rez - hopefully we can arrange to meet on Monday. Twitch - yes, you missed the first Nes gathering last year, I think you were in bed or something. See you on the Sunday if not before.

As mentioned above, for those in Amsterdam on Friday 18th, it would be good to see you in Nes that evening.

You can see reports of the previous gatherings here:

For sure Lem'... we'll speak nearer the time. Haarlem during the morning/Amsterdam during the afternoon for me. So, whichever suits you best, let me know.

Due to personal reason I will not be at this 420 but I will be thinking about you all on that day. Hopefully I will make it there sometime in 2008 but if the Euro keeps getting any steeper lol jamacia is looking good too. Of course my heart belongs to amsterdam though. Look forward to pics and stories from the trip.

Cool! According to FBN's Who's in Town there are already over 20 people signed up for the 420 weekend (there's also a separate, organised, group under the banner "Dopestock"). Hopefully more tourists and residents will join us as the time approaches. DC is up for it so let's make Nes our HQ for the weekend again like previous years, starting with the meet on the Friday evening. See you there.
