Is the volcano vaporiser worth getting?

hey just wondering if the VV is worth getting i live in AUS and am planning a trip to the dam soon. I hured heaps of good things bout the Volcano but are there anything bad? and is it legal to bring it overseas?

If anyone could help that would be great.

They are worth EVERY dollar and then some!!! I absolutely love mine, only had it a couple months and have had no probs at all.

not sure on importing one, probably wanna check with customs on that, but if new and unused its just a "legal" herbal vaporizer.

Did yer Volcano cost you $550+ bucks, Maz? I just can't see paying that much money for what basically amounts to a pipe.

It was about $530.
And i was appauld to see you refer to it as "pipe" ...how dare you

But seriously, it is soooo much better. The main advantage that i think will sell people on it is the fact the your stash goes about twice as long, because you are ingesting more of the THC and burn away alot less of it. VERY little waste.
I consistently get 2-3 bags from a normal "bowl" worth of weed, and i use larger than standard bags. On top of that it is much smoother and easier on the lungs, you ingest much smaller quantities of tars and other carcinogens, and the high itself is slightly different from smoking...a little fresher and clearer.

SERIOUSLY WORTH EVERY PENNY.....if you smoke alot (like i do) i quarantee it will pay for itself in a years time by not burning away half of your stash without you benefiting.

I was just mentioning this thread to my girlie, and she reminded me of another HUGE advantage vaping has over smoking....the ODOR, or lack there of in this case.
The vape isn't odorless, but compared to smoke it might as well be. I have an "office" here in my house where i usually chill out and surf the net and when i smoked in here it reaked of weed constantly. I'd get up in the morning after not smoking anything for 6-8 hours and it would still smell strongly. Now with the vape i got have a mutli bowl session, leave the room for a couple hours and return to just a hint of odor. And the odor is a cleaner/fresher odor as opposed to the nasty stall smoke funk.

man, i'm startin to sound like a fuckin commerical. I think Storz & Bickel (volcano manufacturer) should hook me up with a couple units to help spread the word!!!

ohhh last thing for todays commerical

The only downside to the Volcano is the price. Other than that it's perfect. As Mazdog says, it will pay for itself eventually because it's so efficient by not wasting most of your herbs in combustion. No other vaporiser is so easy to use and works every time. Just a few months ago, the price was $449 out of Oakland, and included shipping, and now it has increased to $539. $90 increase! Ouch.

Just got my Volcano the other day. Had Mazdog over yesterday to help me break it in, and show me the finer points of this fine machine. Smoked a few bags and chilled with my Aust. Shepard and talked about when we're going back to Amsterdam. It's worth every penny. AzLaker

i would have to agree with everyone else it is definetly worth the price. And beside you will be to faded to remember what u paid for it when you are smoking it. The only draw back i have ever noticed with it, was pulling apart all the peices to get a thorough cleaning, and that only takes 10-20 minutes to do pending on how many ballons u suck down before deciding to clean it.

I'll be trying a volcano out for the first time in a couple of weeks, really looking forward to it and I'm pretty sure I'll want to buy one as it sounds like it pays for itself in the long run.

I haven't been to Christiania since feb 2001. Funny thing - I actually spoke to a guy on the train today - he was from Copenhagen and a regular visitor back in the good ol' days. He said since the po-lice cracked down it's just not the same anymore. You can still get your gear if you know where to go but the days of Pusher Street open trade are over... alt least for now anyway (I have a firm belive they will come back one day!).

But yeah it was ok price - I can't compare though have never smoked in Amsterdam - but give me a couple of weeks and I'll tell you the difference!

I have never tried a vaporizer myself. But since I've only heard good things I definately plan to try one out in a weeks time.
