I would reccomend the train. A train from Amsterdam Centraal to Endhoven Centrall costs under 20 Euros. Eindhoven airport is a short bus ride (20 mins max) from the station.
In fact, I am doing this again when I visit amsterdam in May. I've done it a few times and it seems to work for me. Very low security in the airport, so as long as you don set off the metal detector you should be fine with up to 5grams in your pocket.

I OBVIOUSLY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY. SMUGGLING DRUGS OVER INTERNATIONAL BORDERS IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Just saying I've never been caught in Eindhoven.

I agree with Paco. Here is the
Netherlands Railways site to help you plan your trip.
Also,
this site gives you a demo on how the train ticket machines work. Happy trails.

Cool, I have only heard good things about Citymundo. I will be staying at a Citymundo apartment in De Pijp in May.

I dont condone any illegal activity. All I am saying is that in Schipol they KNOW people take weed, and they're looking for it. Eindhoven I personally dont think they are, buts thats purely opinion, not fact and I cannot take any responsibility if you get into trouble. I have no idea how the Italian customs are, but in the US any flight from the Netherlands is subject to strict border controls and searches.
