herb and energy?

Is there a strain that could help with a very low energy problem? I know that the sativas are an up high, I haven't found any to be effective. Could the narcotics have something to do with the way the herb effects me. I do seem to have a very high tolerance to herb and it bites!!
I also am in the middle of ingesting the herb, smoking is not working for me I've got something going on and do not want to complicate things. Problem is I have never got off on eating, it not one bit and I've eaten enough to put people in the hospital. According to the people at one of the dispensaries in San Fran. I should have been comatose, but just felt a little more tired!
I have a major health prob and the herb has changed my life and I don't want to go back on all those narcotics! Eating is going to be the only way for me, I need some info on preparing and ingesting. I have been looking but find so many different opinions, do all of them work? I mean the preparations of the herb, does it really matter how it is done. (cooking)
Thanks

I use it in the butter I bake cookies with, this seems to work very well.

thc is not water soluble, so you need to make a cannabutter first or use alcohol

sorry for the words, but this is total bullshit ;)
just take a usual recepy, e.g. for muffins, hack the weed, put it into the dough and there you go. we have done this several times and.....believe me, I have never seen something more crazy than a group of 20 people being fucking high from muffins and a few joints....its like a psychiatry :D

@68camaro:
Have you tried the original Haze? no crossing, but the one and only original haze? I havent, but even the dutch guy where we buy our weed from says this is the most-blowing thing ever. and as all growers should know, Haze is a Sativa. Just to make it clear to you:
- the price for a kilo of a usual strain like Power Plant is 4000€ when we buy it at the dutch guy
- the price for a kilo of a cross like Mexican Haze is 4500-6000€ , depends on how much Haze is in it ;)

And now you have to imagine those two qualities are already mind-blowing. I asked him once what the price would be for a kilo of the Original Haze and he told us it would be 7500-8000€.....do I have to say anything else? Try the original Haze and if this doesnt work, then there wont be a strain that can help you ;)

I like to make the butter first to extract the THC, then strain the weed out and add the butter to the mix.

Everyone doesn't Ash.

What THC really needs to become active is heat..... the fat helps alot but if there is fat in the recipe anyway I don't see why you would insist on making butter first.

I'd use Hash in baking anyway, had far better results!

Cannabutter makes use of the fact that cannabinoids are not soluble in water to extract them from the plant matter. The only point in doing this that I'm aware of is that it's tasteless. I've got some directions somewhere on how to make cannabutter that I may or may not have posted here before. I've tried it and it's very effective.

Cooking with unprocessed grass or hash works just as well, you just need strong flavours if the taste of grass is not to be overpowering.

Thanks everyone

I understand the butter! I don't understand the process and why I am not effected when I consume so much! This is a major problem and I need major answers, it seems that the butter is good, I need something that I do not have to eat so much of to get a desired effect. Pain relief!!

I rely on the cannabis for pain relief, I have gone up to a couple of weeks when I am dry. I notice no change. I have been told the strangest thing, I need to overdose one time to turn on the correct brain cells and get my body awaken to this substance! Could this be true?

In my experience, it isnt that you need to "overdose" it's just everyone feels different, at different times. Some feel the effects of cannabis on the first try; others it takes a few to several times. For me, the 9th try was the success. I kept trying cause I knew I didnt like the effects of alcohol and my buddies looked really happy after smoking, so I continued to try. I'm sure glad I did! Just keep trying 68camaro. Try not to push yourself into the high. It will come. I truly hope you find relief in cannabis for your pain and suffering. One Love.

Also reducing the sugar in your diet can have a big effect on how much THC affects you.

Have you tried a vapo Camaro? and at different temperatures? Seems like the best way of getting a lot of THC into you without hurting your lungs too much...

Also perhaps your illness and pain has made you tense up and unable to relax into the feeling? Like when you have someone unexpected turn up at the door and the adrenaline rush kills your buzz...maybe some meditation would help to remove this barrier?

Puffin - 9 times?! :o incredible perseverance! good work.
