What is meant by a trippy high? For me its this. Traditionally weed was viewed as giving one a nice social high or stone, while one was still in control and able to act normal when needs be. For me a trippy high is something that happens with very strong weed. It takes you away from reality and for a while your in a zone of your own making. I have never seen dragons or anything like that from any weed, but strong weed can make my senses hallucinate. By this i mean, my movement seems very slow and repetitive and when i move my head forward from the pillow it feels like my head is moving back. I know im on a weed trip when my hands feel like they merge with the soft fabrics that i touch and i have what i call the glue magnet effect. Normal weed makes me euphoric and giggly but thats about it. I can still function and talk to people who aint stoned. With trippy weed im in my own world and to the outsider must looked like im either really stoned or just mad.
What do you class as a weed trip?

Me and a mate were sitting in the vondlepark a couple of years ago, smoking a spliff of grey haze. And my mate said he could hear this woman speaking on her mobile phone and she was a good 150 ft away. I couldn't hear a thing LOL.

When your in the aparment in amsterdam, having a pee, then you work out your not peen in the toliet, let alone in the bathroom but are in fact pee-ing all over one of your travel buddies shoes.

Usually it's unpleasant.
Eg. a clone I grew (given to me as 'Thai', which took 14 weeks to ripen) was the strongest bud I've ever had. I'd hear whirring and buzzing noises, and lose up to 2 hours completely, then suddenly come to, still sitting there with most of a joint.
I spent four days barely able to feed or dress myself, getting increasingly frustrated with being unable to even remember what I was doing 5 seconds ago, occasionally risking my life by using kitchen equipment. It was as difficult to cope with as doing microdots - no joke.
The clearest memory I have from that period is the flavour of the weed - which was more like oat biscuits or porridge than fruit or mint.
It was very trippy in terms of disorientation, but no visuals or anything nice. I swapped the rest of it for nice normal buds and watched other people go all pale and narcoleptic for a while, then threw all the remaining cuttings out and grew "Berry Berry" instead. Yum.

I recommend psilocybin for trips, and weed for getting stoned.
Tripping off weed (or its oil) tends to be a gruelling experience rather than a giggle.

This sounds more like something someone would do on alcohol or weed and alcohol. Was it just weed that made you do this? Very curious. Peace.

Yep unfortantly was weed induced. I had been smoking all day in and around the city, and me and the traveling buddy had bought a super blunt thing from a head shop ( i dont know if you know what i mean its like a huge pre-rolled blunt in like a carboard box.) Filled it with all manner of different types of weed and threw in a couple of grams of Hash, as i say i was very mashed when we rolled this so the name of the hash escapes me,. Smoked it between the two of us and preceded to both feel ' unwell.' My face went whiter than a irishmans arse and i decided a lie down was in order, to which the travel buddy had decided this was also a good idea. I soon realised it was not a good idea i as i span the fuck out, felt like the bed was flying and then lost the basic abiltly to focus or make any sense of my surroundings. I got out of bed and tried to get my buddy awake enough to tell him i was fucking up all the show. The daft sod never woke up. At which point i felt sick, puked in the middle of the room and took a piss in my mates shoes thinking i was in the toliet.

Actually come to think of it that was after a come down from my first ever shrooming experience and a few beers in Ricks (this was back when beer was still avaible in coffeeshops.) To ease the com down nastiness.

I still blame it on that blunt though, i think that was the final straw that broke my brain. All in all though a good time for your first day and night i thought.

i was so high once that i was flotting in the air story goes like this
friend from BC came down east wit a bag of weed (the size of Cheechs cousin in cheech&chong Next movie AKA big army bag) of this BC skunk
at first i didnt know he had that much weed wit him! so we start playing card (rummy 5000) he pulls out about QP (1/4 pound) bag give it to me and tell me start rolling so i do start rolling smoking finidhing re-roll did that for about 8hours one fat joint after the other puffing and puffing away
after 8 hour of smoking and didnt get up once from my sit .PAFF get the need for a piss get out get about 5feet my head start turning so i besided to lay down on floor witch i wasnt felling i was more like flotting in the air i stayed like that for about 1-2hours couldnt move and everything was in slow motion. « this was called OVER DOING IT we smoke about 60-70grams and was close call for me cause what happend was i Over dosed on weed or more like alchool poissing but wit weed! and in 2002 at CC some guy in my hotel OD on weed he smoke all 27 entries in the first day and guess he couldnt take smoking 27gs

takes about ur body weight of weed and u got 15 min to smoke the whole thing to O,D on weed. you freaked out.you pulled a whitey

Hearing the phone ringing, jumping up to answer it then realising you imagined it... usually followed by laughter, unless it's the 5th time in as many minutes! That only ever happens when yer really, really stoned hehe

I sat once in a CS in A'dam and realized that next to me entered a young girl. A child (maybe 8 years old). After some minutes (probably seconds... you know how time can change in certain situations) I realized that this cannot be. No child would enter a CS, especially not alone!!!
I didn't really see her, but in that moment I was convinced that she was there. Probably it was just some shadow, and the rest was due to my imagination.
