BubbleGum + Orange

Post by kermist82 »

Hey people

visiting the Dam Very soon and doing my final piece of research...

2 strains i want to try are : Bubblegum + Orange Haze/ Bud

The recent post of the Yellow Mellow menu makes me post this...

There Orange Haze + bubblegum is 10euro a gram...

Greenhouse also offer Bubblegum at 10euro a gram...

Blueberry is sold for 4gram for 25euro which is what am talking about :) Nice deal!

Is there anywhere which sells good quality but cheaper:
Orange or Bubblegum.... at 10euro a gram, its not cheap, and for an extra euro can get super silver haze or Amnesia....

Any local knowledge on these 2 weeds prices, quality + best places to grab some.

Thanks

Hunters bar does some nice orange bud im told, but im sure that the orange bud and the orange haze are completely different strains. The only place ive heard/smoked orange haze is in Mellow Yellow, but they have the same menu as the noon apprently so chould try the Noon.

On the bubblegum front the only time i bought it was a year or so back in Willie Wortels Sativa in Harleem. Well the worth the train ride. Was quite nice bud but im more after the hazey tastes than the sweet bubblegum taste.

Failing that Grey Area have Double Bubble last time i was there, a little expensive but also rather good.

dunno if this helps dude. :D

Well. smokersguide gave the Orange Bud from Hunters a very positive review.

About Mellow Yellow and their prices:
first of all, the Orange Haze is, as the name says, a Haze-cross. From a Haze you get less crop than from other strains and it takes longer to be ready for harvesting. This is why its always a bit more expensive than others.
The 2nd reason for MY prices is, that they only sell high quality weed. Of course each batch of a strain can differ from the one before, but there was never weed from mellow yellow which didnt get me high/stoned as hell and tasted bad. There is always a special taste to whatever strain they sell.
Dont go to Amsterdam for some usual weed, please! Get the Hazes, spend your money, get wasted and then think about if the 1€ for a lower quality of weed would be worth!

I may be wrong but orange bud at Prix d'ami is cheap, 8 euros I think. Same at Abraxas. Bubblegum is about 9 at both.

you get about 1.5g's of bubblegum for 10 at betty's.

This is from memory from my jan trip. sorry its not more recent.
Endure

Orange bud and Orange haze are two totally different strains of cannabis. Orange bud provides a very mild high and is not very strong. The same cannot be said for Orange haze which is a strong cerebral high. Dont confuse to two. :D Peace.

thanks so far, good stuff...

Because quality + price differ so much in Amsterdam... its hard to make a decision...

But if Mellow Yellowh have a rep for good weed at a fair price it sounds good...

Gonna try some nice strains, but comes a point where i must buy some cheaper strains, reasons of money and not getting too fucked too early :)

Actually its more so the money... I really can't afford 10 per gram on every strain.... even though ill prob get some chocolope or yellow cab at 13.5 from grey area.

But would like a cheaper strain here n there to keep me going :)

Last time i ran out of money and ended up having to share a drink in every place with the lady :(

I guess part of my Q was about filtering out the shit coffeeshops that sell crap quality at high prices, but if its top quality at 10euro a gram it can't be that bad... am too much of a bargain hunter, so even 8euro a gram would be better, but the quality different could be that bad, it would be far better to spend the extra 2euro a gram..

Not sure why but to myself 10euro a gram appears abit pricey for a standard price... am just a cheapskate :(

thanks again people, can't wait to try fruity things:
Apple jack sounds nice, hope it tastes like it sounds

Twilight Zone has Bubblegum at 5g for 35 euros if you want a bulk-buy-bargain, but that was September 2007. I can confirm that it's a bloody nice schmoke! Aslo, if you wish to err on the side of frugality - Trefpunt and Central have some good 5g deals. Have fun, kiss the 'Dam for me and tell it I'll be seeing it again soon!

Spliffysmurf x ps, don't know if you've seen this but it helped me a lot http://www.black-arts.org/~reatta/menus.html

I'm expecting to pay that much. I was last there in 2006 and most things below 10 didn't get me buzzed. I've heard the Diesel at Club Media is a good deal.

For good quality and cheap prices go to Dampkring and buy their lower price stuff like PP,orange bud or JAck herrer. The lavender is a great value for the price of 8€, great taste and a real good stone
