The dry, sunny weather is causing an early plague of insects, according to Tuesday's Telegraaf.
Pest controllers report a stream of calls about ants and bees and in Enschede seven wasp nests were removed on Monday.
Insects usually appear in June and pest controllers are expecting a busy summer, says the paper.
