Hi all can anyone tell me where i can get hold of sum good Durban Poison? I havn't seen it in any of the coffeeshops visited. Nice one. Smokey

A mate of mine got some from DreadRock Coffeeshop a couple of weeks ago and said it was nothing special.

Homegrown Fantasy have had it in the past.

Bought some there this time last year. OK smoke, only bought it as I was smoking it back in the UK at the time and wanted to contrast and compare. Wouldnt buy it again but dont let that put you off trying it.

I think i had some in Picassos last year, cant recall if it was Durban Poison or just Poison though.

Thats just called Poison, a lot of people thought it was Durban but I'm pretty sure it was proved not to be.

I had Durban Poison on my last trip and found it to a very exceptional smoke.

I believe Rookies had it the day or so before I left when they changed the menu.But HGF also had it.

Smokers Guide suggests its a member of the White family, I wouldn't be surprised.

From what I understand Durban Poison is supposed to be an original landrace. There are supposedly only a small number of original land races (15+). If this is true, then there are no "genetics" as you put it; its genetics are 100% "Durban Poison." All strains, and the genetics of strains, come from endlessly crossing and breeding out mixes of the land races.

If anyone can verify that Durban Poison is a landrace, please do so. If I can find something on the internet, I'll do so.
