check that out, also, the prices i have noticed are comparable to american weed prices when converted ($20/$40, $25/$50, $30/$60) depending on what you get.
the atmosphere, quality of weed and ease of getting it is also a factor that you cacnt add into the equation.

A hundred dollars a meal? Depends where you eat. course you can spend that on a meal... find a nice restaurant ec etc... or you can eat at febo or mcdonalds for 5 bucks a meal

Yes the price has gone up, a year or so ago it was only the Sativas that were over €10 a gram now you find more & more Indica strains costing around the €10 a gram mark, another example is Central coffeeshop, a couple of years ago nearly everything was 2.5 for €12.5 or 5 for €25 now its more like 3.something for €25.

Does that mean the 5g deals are gone? Didnt go central on my last few trips was way to busy so just went into future instead.
Could be a silly question but is the smoke gone up in price because of bust on grows rooms etc. Or the shops in amsterdam gotta cover higher rent etc?
I keep forgetting the dollar's so bad compared to the euro, are you Yanks paying more in 'dam than you would back home for the same qualitly gear?

Yep no more 5 gram deals, haven't a clue why the prices have risen so much but I'd take a guess that greed has got the better of them more so than anything else.

Dude that sucks arse!
Im starting to get tempted into staying in Harleem instead of amsterdam tbh, prices are so high in 'dam and ive heard they are still cheaper in Harleem, althought its been like a year since i was last there. Although im told that Harleem can be a wee bit rough so have always stayed in amsterdam,i strongly belive safety in numbers i guess. Because of this i also strongly belive i was a cow or a similar herd animal. Hopefully something cool like a Wildabeast (sp?) but most probably a cow.

Haarlem isn't rough, it attracts a lot of Dutch people for the shopping, it is slightly cheaper than Amsterdam but not much.

Prices are up because police have been more aggressively targeting grow operations.
