Cheers BIG..I was wondering if anyone here had smoked it? I was fine with a few well flushed/cured/grown hydro weeds before, hoping Cherry Bomb is one of them as it sounds rather good :)

The Cherry Bomb is neutrally flushed and enough to go round for about a month, or so. :D The only thing I could notice was a bit more of a sharper edge in the smoking compared to the bios, no problem with headaches or meltdowns though.

I did findout about the Swazi and the Thai Tanic...erm...but I've forgot!. The Swazi is a cross with Skunk1 and I'm smokin the Thai now, which might explain the forgetfulness...think I've got a companian for Stella. 8)

I like this place a lot.

Enjoyed the Super Silver Haze...... Loved the atmosphere and the diversity of music is excellent.... only place I heard Ben Harper the whole trip.

See you in about 10 days... I'm coming back!

10 days... I had forgotten about your luck with the double trip...

Did you get to sign "The Book"... and also did you get any pics of your trip/and/or "The Book"...?

REV and his mate
BIG and his missus
nytvd.......and those who turned up on Fri night, sorry I miissed yas but I was fukt by 10pm and in need of me dinner. :D

Nice meetin y'all. 8)

Still tomorrow night to go. Speakin of which, I'll be working Tuesday dayshifts from now on too.

Glad to see we've finally had somebody vote they didn't like the Nes, it proves the point ya can't please everybody all of the time....and to be honest, sometimes for the benefit of others....it's better not to. It's a shame though it was just the vote without a comment, it hardly explains why and certainly doesn't give any chance of me addressing whatever the problem was so future customers don't have to suffer any of the same issuses. Very helpful and fully appreciated I'm sure......

Doog wrote: I think I know who you'll be talking about but I suppose they have to try and catch people out with some weaker stuff every now and then if the person goes in and doesn't really know what they are looking for.

Take this forum for example, hundreds of posts keeping people pretty much up to date and what's hot and where it's at, so you'll get people going up to the counter and asking for the stuff by name and that's that badda bing.

So when you get the customers who come in and ask the dealer for his or her recommendations, then it makes good sense to talk up the weaker stuff just to get rid of it.

I don't know how long shops hold on to stock that isn't selling but the fact that they buy it in the first place makes it all the more important to sell as much of it as possible to unsuspecting customers.
Doog, I think you're a little way of mark there mate.

The same happened to me, ordered Cherry Bomb but the dealer tried to talk me out of my choice and to a weaker variety first and then the CB. The way I read it was either I dont look like a regular toker of strong weeds (which I aint) and smoking CB could have sent me Whiteyville USA or that I was already so wrecked (which I was) that smoking the CB would have tipped me over the edge (but I'm made of stern stuff and it didnt).

Either way, how I looked at it was they were looking after my interests and in turn their own. I mean who wants a 6ft 1, sixteen stone Taffy, rag dolled and spewing over their lovley Coffee Shop? I know I wouldnt!!

Space Boy I can see your point there.

But I can still see mine in the background.

How many people go into shops and actually tell the dealer that they are regular smokers? Do regular smokers look different to anyone else?

Okay, MAYBE the selling of cheap stuff instead of good stuff doesn't happen in Nes-Cafe but you can bet your bottom dollar that it happens and that it is widespread.

It is basic sales technique to spot the unsuspecting customer and take full advantage.

Doog, if I'd have gave you the proper 'spock' joint when you visited the shop, it would've knocked you out and had you on the floor faster than Tyson in his hayday. I'd have seen the same result if I'd have sold you the weed and ice that goes into the joint and you'd have made it yerself......and who then has to pick you up off the floor?. This is why most shops worth their salt will actually ask customers about their smoking habbits, then advise accordingly, especially if they also sell alcohol. Plus, basic sales technique to people on holiday with a pocket full of 'spending' money is to talk UP the weed and sell the most expensive and in turn often the strongest products. If a guy comes into a car showroom and looks at 2 cars, a Skoda and a Ferrari.....If he has enough money for the Ferrari, what car is the 'dealer' gonna sell him?. Why, because the aim of basic sales is to make as much profit as ya can, not shift the old 'cheaper' gear. It even has a better 'return' sales value as you'd have ppl sayin 'Jesus! I was in that shop and they gave me this weed that fukt me up completely' instead of 'yeah I went to this shop were they wouldn't sell me the good stuff and sold me shit cheap weed', which to me, sounds more like business suicide......for any shop . When asked what my reccomendation is from the list by a customer, I tell them what I like the best, which for me is NOT the strongest or most expensive....otherwise I'd just be sayin the words 'Haze' and 'Ice' all day and also be cleaning a lot more puke off the floor. :( :D

Do regular smokers look different to anyone else?.........See enough of them and often, yes they do.
Do they sound different to anyone else?..........Absofrigginlutely!.

What gives us away?

The lack of a complete sentence?

The crossed eyes?

Not shaving for days on end?

Not giving a toss how you look when you leave the house?

I reckon regular smokers are easy to spot. It's the same with all drugs..... I used to make a hobby of spotting the substance in use in my nightclubbing hayday.
