Brown puts cannabis to class B

Post by Sir Niall of Essex-sire »

Didnt think he would do but against adivce from the drugs advisory council and other experts today cannabis was placed back into class B. Meaning a potential 5 year prision sentance for anyone in posscession of it.

Needless to say this sucks arse, and is a huge backwards step in the way to legisation in the UK i think. A blatent attempt to grab middle english votes by a primeminister who wasnt even voted in!

So to stand my own little protest i have decided to have a huge smoke up tonight. :D

I thought the re-classification had to go through a parlimentry vote before it becomes law?. If thats right then in theory it's still a class C drug untill the changes become law via a vote that probably wont happen for a number of months yet.

It is still classified as Class C until the overpaid halfwits in parliament decide to ruin it again!!!

I only know it has to go through a vote first to become law as a class B drug, as I recall there had to be a vote to change it to a class C drug in the first place a number of years ago!.

And as Gordon Brown is out of favour with his own party let alone the others there is a fair to good chance that the MP's will possably go against him in quite big numbers, just to put the knife in lol.
