I believe it's coltsfoot on the Greenhouse counter, which is there free of charge as a tobacco substitute: http://earthnotes.tripod.com/coltsfoot.htm

went to check out that coltsfoot stuff, this is what part of it says "Internal use of these herbs is not currently recommended"

what does that mean exactly?

Interesting. Wiki says: "The plant has been used since at least historical times to treat lung ailments such as asthma as well as various coughs by way of smoking."

the coltsfoot site also says in part "...One final note: many plants were used for a wide range of illnesses in the past, but be aware that many of the historical uses have proven to be ineffective for the problems to which they were applied."

I've heard great things about Farmers Honeyblend Herbal Mix and have desperately wanted to try it for some time, but can't find it in the netherlands.

Pure rolling your weed is 1 thing, but what about those of us who might like the occasional hash joint?.

I dont do the bongs or really bother with the vapourisors. And the pipe option really seems to burn or catch the back of my throat.

Some may well say that for the hash that a vapouriser really in the best and only option right?. But imagine the waiting for 1 unless they put 2 or 3 on each table, which is never going to happen. Besides which I dont really like the idea of those bags after countless others have had there gob around lol.

Surely in the next month there will be loads of tobacco alternatives coming to our aid, possably 1 or 2 thats of reasonable to very good as a decent mixer.

I smoke in spliffs with a bit of tobbacco in. Best way. As you say, pipes are nasty. Makes you look like a crack head! Vapin' hash is good, only just started using the vapo about a week ago. It sat in my cupboard for about 6 months as I ran out of bags. :P

I've actually got a pipe here at home somewere, 1 of those mini ones. Never took to it in the slightest, 1 of those things I'll probably never use again, but keep as it will be part of my memories of Amsterdam forever.

Pipes, whilst very widely sold in Amsterdam hardly ever seems to get noticed by me in any of the coffeeshops I've been into over the years!. I think that says it all really lol.

I use nice big glass pipes only, mostly bec i smoke myself, i have a bong but its a cheap plastic thing that i dont like so much. I hear what your saying about pipes in the c/s, a joint is a lot more social and makes more sense, just roll a fatty instead of packing a pipe over and over
