Cant remember how many of my trip reports i posted so heres alll of em:
they might contradict or repeat but it was too much text to edit.

JAN 08
This is my sixth trip and the second in cold January. It was me, my two flat mates, my girlfriend and her mate. Went on the www.dutchflyer.co.uk for £59, missed the ferry on the way back and had to pay an extra £35 for a cabin as it sailed overnight. Stayed at the Delft apartment form Greenhouse Effect for E152 per night for 4 people.(http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/popdelft.html) Its above Hill Street Blues 2 looking out onto Nieuwmarkt. It was the perfect base, right on the edge of the red light, which was the deadest ive ever seen. Ate at Nomads – first time, great food and interior. Cocos – tokeing area was getting refurbished but you can still smoke at the front of the place, up two stairs – enjoyed a fattie of BBC here after the customary burger and frosty pint. Also went to some random Chinese which was E7 for a glass of juice and a fat plate of good food. Spent lots of time in Suzie’s Saloon and the GHE bar. Sorry if i make mistakes - ice o lator and the last bit of haze have invaded my brain .Three out of the five hardly smoked, with two of us going at it at full pace. It was my birthday earlier in the mouth so I intended to spend lots of cash and have a blast. And I did;
Hill Street Blues 2
1g Sage Haze E13 – first smoke, tasted good and hit the spot.
1g Northen Lights – E8 – nothing special, dwarfed by the Sage Haze.
1.2g HSB Special – 7.50 – good for price but nothing special!
Others: didn’t sell half grams, Amnesia Haze looked good but was E14.
Homegrown Fantasy
.5g Lemon Swazi E5 – smelt nice and organically lemony in the bag but flavor did not come through when smoking.
Others; no Cheese, no Amazing Haze and no Genie in the Lamp; more than half the menu was crossed out as usual.
Amnesia:
1g Caramella Cream E14 – dealer pulled out a huge chocolate bar of this stuff and bent it, untill it started to break andf the light interior showed itself. Sticky, oily and fucking lovely. Mouth watering after taste.
1g G13 Haze E14 – after seeing the Amnesia Haze i thought id buy that but when the dealer opened the G13 my mind was changed. Had a very strange and unique smell and taste. But FUCK did it pack a punch. Id heard the CC hype, didn’t believe it. After smoking a chunky spliff of this I was full on believing. Trippy shit – especially when mixed with G13xAmnesia Haze from Tweede Kamer. The high cut through the build up of a day of smoking many strains and drinking pints. It was intense.
1g Hawaiian Haze E13.50 – tasted good – just like the Abraxas Stuff I’ve tried before but with more haze. High was strong and came in waves.
1g NYCD E11.50 – not good for the price. Nice smoke and taste was good but lacked that full flavor you expect form a diesel. Dampkring’s version kicked this is the face.
1g Heavy Duty Fruity E8.50 – nice but not that fruity as the name suggest. High was there but not the taste.
.5g Sweet Tooth E5 – heard lots about it, was nice but i was not overly impressed.
.5g Hassan Supreme E5 – nice but was better last trip. Still nice.
.5g Honey B E7 - great tangy flavor, top sativa left me wanting more and more– will definitely get again.
Others; Amnesia Haze again looked good. On all visits the dealers were over friendly and more than welcome to answer questions.
Hunters Bar
1.6g Primera E22– dealer said it was the very best. It wasn’t that but it was a nice up pollen.
1g Big Buddha Cheese E9 – thought it to be the bees knees till I tried the GA version. Still good through.
1.2g Mango Madness aka Somango E16 – huge glistening buds, wins my award for best taste (apart form the hazes) with its almost too sweet flavor. High was strong aswell. Expensive but worth it. Smoked about .8 in a fat one for breakfast with a mango and some mango juice. Fucking top way to start the day. I would love to have got at least 5g of this but its so hard to purchase the same strain form the same shop with all the choice.
.5g Purps E5 – nice colorful buds. Dealer was annoyed when I asked for half a g. nice but didn’t convince me about purple strains in Dam.
Others; Somaui was dregs (Hawaiian bud x G13) and Somini ( KushxAfgani x G13) didn’t look up to much. Big menu, most things in stock. Went at midday and the Spanish dealer was definitely on speed; singing along really loudly, the way he stated into my eyes and his overall craziness were obvious signs. No MK Ultra either.
Grey Area
1g Lemon Skunk E11 – smelt citrusy and sweet. Tasted good, not as good as the smell but very nice. Not very skunky.
1g BBC E13 – slightly rotten smell- in the best way possible. The smell lingered in the air for ages. Pungent and tangy taste.
1g Greyberry E8.50 – very nice smoke and extremely good value. This shows the quality throughout the GA menu.
1g Yellow Cab E8.50 – heard it could be c99- its not but it’s an amazingly tasty smoke that could go for E12 on other menus. Fun high.
Others; no Chocoloupe or Sour Cream. Silverbubble was on its last legs. One word for the GA; Quality.
Tweede Kamer
1g Rifman Samihr E12 – nice strong sleepy stone.
.5g Rifman Christmas Special E8.50 – the best hash ive smoked, ever. It feels softer than blue tack, even the cold, is so sticky and the high is strong and lasting. Worth the money.
1g John Sinclair E10 – smoked it in a pure in Suzie’s – nice smooth sativa.
1g Laughing Buddha E9
.5g G13xAmnesia Haze E6.50 – strong mind numbing shit, not to be missed.
1g Super Silver Haze E10- does exactly what it says on the tin, killed my mate who’s first expericne it was in Dam. Strong and tasty – just how I like it.
Others; still the best menu in town with informative dealer. No Jala or two other Rifman products.
Barneys Lounge
1g Red Cherry Berry E12 – did what HDF should have. Had a strong fruity taste and a KO indica high. Mmmmm.
.5g Carmella Cream E9 – E5 more than in amnesia – not as sticky but still a top quality pollen
Others; first time in new Barneys – good service and nice seats. Will be back. My lightweight mate snoozed in here.
Bluebird
1.5g Sage ‘n’ Sour E12.50 – smoked it in a rips spliff while playing poker. The two strains separate have tastes to die for but they slightly cancel each other out when crossed. Still fruity taste and good high.
Others; smoked a bong in here, nice friendly staff. No Blue Cheese but the menu was equal between skunk and hash, whereas it used to be hash heavy.
Greenhouse Effect
1.1g GHE Special E10 – not as good as the HSB Special. Mediocre.
Others; NYCDxHaze – big buds, smell was good but E14 was a little too much. Amnesia Haze for the same price looked on good form.
Katsu
.8g Crystal Clear E20 – good value and amazing in bongs. Still have .4
.8g Haze Guris E5 – found out after buying that gruis meant pre grinded. My mate skinned up and it smelt proper good – I was surprised it was this. Another great deal.
.7g Northern Lights x Silver Pearl E5 – better than the HSB NL, nice mellow high with light taste.
Others; pure haze 1.5 for E20 didn’t look worth it. Talked to a Dutch man about his travels in china with 10g of hash oil. My favorite local shop. Had a hot chocolate costing E1.80, walked for 10 mins back towards the center and the same thing cost E3.50 in Mellow Yellow. Crazy.
Mellow Yellow
1g Orange Haze E11 – top quality taste and stone. I forgot how different strains can taste and this one hit all my taste buds with goodness. Its not orangey but what ever it is its quality stuff.
Others; was wondering if Bubblegum Haze on the menu here is the same as BB Haze form Noon?
The Noon
1.3g Blue Berry haze E13 – when the dealer opened the tupperware I new it was going to be to notch stuff. Tasted like smoking Wrigley’s juicy fruit gum and STANK when you smoked it. High was typical haze intensity. The rainbow of flavors this trip was so good; this was completely different from MY’s Orange Haze but just as tasty. And at E10 per g this could my top pick. Sticky and crystal covered.
2g Blueberry E13 – gone up from E11 last time and what used to be E22 for 5g has gone up to E24 for 4g. Nice bud, taste was mostly there but high wasn’t great.
Others; White Mellon was out of stock and still E11 for 2g and E22/4g. No cheeze. Full of Moroccans watching the African nations cup.
Dolphins
1g White Dolphin E10 – really good taste, not the strongest high.
Other; smoked a vaporizer of the WD. Good but I didn’t get round to trying a volcano.
Greenhouse Centrum
1g Alaskan Ice E10 – had a good taste, thick heavy smoke but slightly harsh.
Others; the Arjan’s Haze #1 and Ultra Haze #1 and #2 all were dregs and didn’t smell much, the Ultra Haze #2 smelt of chemicals. Hawaiian Snow was crossed off.
Pink Floyd/Dampring
2g NYCD E17 – put Amnesias version to shame, taste was exactly as it should be in a diesel- fresh and fruity. Smoked a fat spliff after a baguette with ham and cheese (E4). Yet another amazing deal. I know when I return with less money that the lower priced items can fully fulfill my needs . But it was my birthday I had the cash so I went nuts.
Others; table service (not weed) was good, the Scottish woman was mad.
Kadinsky
1g Bubblegum E9 – small rock solid bud, smoked on the ferry home. Was nice and put me to sleep effectively, but bubblegum always disappoints me. My mates went here while I was at Abraxas; I had a milkshake but the menu didn’t excite me as it was expensive and generic.
Rokerij IV
1g Lavender E9.50 – remembered that it was on my list to try- first spliff was disappointing, I did smoked it after the Mex Haze. 2nd spliff was much better – nice taste but a familiar one.
.5g Mexican Haze E6.50 – not as good as the sample I had from Tweede Kamer in the summer but was still very spicy and hazey.
.5g Jack Herer E4 – nice smell, nothing special.
Others; no Sour D, two locals asked after me so I guess this stuffs popular- E10/per g. Nice local shop.
The Coin
1g Mako Haze E10 – another I wanted to try when reading before I left – it wasn’t stand out but was nice and a good change to the other strains. Nice earthy and spicy flavor.
Other; the dealer here was not on speed. In here on the last day my mate lost his crystal catching grinder that had all the weed we smoked go through it. It was a strange last day full moon makes Amsterdam go crazy; along with the grinder 1g of BB, two pairs of gloves, some money were lost and a small silent smiling hooded woman followed us from near Kashmir Lounge to Leidseplein to my amusement but the girls horror.
Kashmir Lounge
1g Desert Bud E8.50 – the name always put me off – was pleasantly surprised with the rich slightly menthol taste and workable high.
Other; huge menu; 10 or so hashes from E2.50 to E18 and 15 strains of skunks and weeds. Planken smelt very nice. Only had an hour in here after getting lost on the way from Nomads. Best place in town to have a pint and spliff. DJ was sick, best music of the trip. The majority of music I heard from this trip was absolute WANK. Few Desmond Deckker tunes in Amnesia but it was mostly fucking Lilly Allen, JT or Amy Winehouse. Hardly any reggae or experimental electro/instrumental that’s good for chilling. Most places were blaring commercial shite, when your high hearing hard enough but with this crap some shops had to be left quickly – Mellow Yellow being the worst offender.
Central
2.5g Super Polm E12.50 – nice and sticky when you light and crumble it. Great deal
2.2g Black Bombay E12.50 – nice malleable dark hash – good in bongs.
Others; surprised to see them stocking Mako Haze and other higher end strains.
Anyday
1g Hash Haven E8.60 – nice indica with a sleepy high. Enjoyed the taste of this one
1g Stella Blue E9.20 Gone up by a few E’s since I last had it, but it was well worth it. Another strain cheaper on the overall spectrum of the center which could be E12+ on other menus.
1g Edelweiss E7.80 – nice white strain,
Others; disappointed I didn’t get the 5g deal or chill here as it was always busy. Nice shop, has a local feel.
Best weed: 1.G13 & G13Amnesia Haze 2.Mango Madness 3.Orange & BB Haze.
Honorable mention: Honey B and Red Cherry Berry.
Best hash: x-mas special hands down. Amnesias Caramella 2nd.
Ill try get some pics up soon. I Was extremly happy with the vast majority i smoked. I had such I good time, hope it wasn’t my last. Don’t ban the land of multi-colored, multi-flavored bags of green.

JULY 06
5th trip in 3 years, it never gets dull and I could always stay a hell of allot longer. Last 4 times Ive been with the boys, this time went with the girlfriend, her first. Had a blast, Albert Cuyp market, the zoo, and many coffeshops. To top it off 36 degrees centigrade!!! Last summer it rained on my last day. I stayed at Hotel ABBA, got a 3person room for the price of a double, dunno why. Huge room. Highly recommendable. Ok, simple breakfast. Went two a nice Italian restaurant was good and Cocos was as good as ever. Same big burgers, chilled pints, 1/2 cocktails and you can smoke before you eat, smoke after you eat, hell smoke when youre eating. Outside was packed inside empty. Had the narrow bit at the side to ourselves, comfy couch. 1 problem: extremely hot, it needs air con. And lots of other stuff that i carnt remember right now. I may spell strains wrong and slightly misjudge prices but its not my fault, THC rearranged my brain.
Tweede Kamer:
Menu as big as ever. Sage 'n' Sour waterworks ice 38!!!! Ive had 25 moonshine No.1 but this is silly. Hawaiian beauty looked a very nice smoke.
1g Riffman Sharazad 8 - wanted sharazade sunrise but it was out, this was simaliar but not as nice. Still a nice light hash but with dark sticky traits. A good pollen. 8/10
1g Kali mist Haze 9 - had very high expectations but didnt compare to kali mist from the same shop last year, taste wasnt amazing but high was strong.6.5/10
Blue Bird:
Nice chill out, friendly staff great menu, good toastiest. Was tempted by Star Warz a great looking sensi star warlock cross and many others.
3.2g Blue Cheese 25 - I cant say how good this. Smell and taste are full on WOW!. Girlfriend hated the smell and the taste, its one of those on the boarder line nasty but incredibly nice pungent, it blows you away .best indica. A must. 9/10
Amnesia:
Yet again this proved to be the best hangout. Good music (reggae, hip hop, chill out), great smoothies (mango, strawberry, vanilla, are to die for) Lots of comfy seats. Never seems too busy. Close to Grey Area. Really good products. Best shop of the trip. Could have spent days here
1g NYCD 9.50-Still the diesel taste manages to blow me away ever time. grapefruity taste, makes your mouth water. Top quality. 9/10
.5g Bubblegum 4.50 - nice light taste, got with the last of my euros before getting on the train. Ok but wouldnt get again. had better. 6.5/10
Nes:
They also had cherry bomb, good looking ice. Friendly female dealer recommend kush. Was busy, we were the only early 20yr olds inn there but it was fine. Nice spot too just off dam square.
1g Sage 'n' Sour 10.50 - I saw this last year and thought yes sage and sour diesel are amazing strains but 2 nice tastes=maybe not so nice, but they combine really well sweet in your face citrus taste. Smell is 10/10. Overall 8.5/10
1g Stella Blue Haze 9.50 - smelt like lemon detergent, taste didnt compare to grey areas Stella blue from last year, was neither hazey or like berries. Smell was a dick tease. Average in every area. Generous 7/10
Hunters Bar:
Went coz most coffeeshops were shut, was already fucked. Paid 20 for 2 doubles- paid with a 50, got the change and was baffled till I saw the menu. Fuck that worse than London prices. Otherwise ok.
1g Sensi Star 9.50 - ran blue cheese close for best indica but lost on taste by a fair bit, the strong sleepy stone makes for perfect bedtime material. 7.5 almost 8/10
Abraxas:
Great seats upstairs, nice decor, chilled, good smoothies, big menu
1g Harlem Diesel 11 greatly looked forward to the mostly indica version of a great strain, hyped up by the smokers guide review http://www.smokersguide.com/sg/SmokersG ... php?id=425 Didnt compare at all to Amnesias NYCD, was nice but when diesel is really good other ones just annoy me. 7/10
1g Hawaiian Haze 10 Enjoyed very much before, taste was still peppery and strong. Nice haze taste with strong sharp high. 7.5/10
Grey Area:
The two DNA genetics strains I got were 12 a g, Grey haze, grey diesel and DNA's cannaloupe haze were 10 per g, all were sold out but I looked at sweet haze, not on the menu, which looked very good but my money was needed else where. I like the new menu its great. Still has the old goodies like 4077, yellow cab, grey mist, greyberry and ak47 for 7.50
4.5g Sour Cream (sour diesel x g13 haze) 52. THE BEST. got a g on day two went back for 3.5 when it was gone. Says it all. Pricey but well well worth it. Has it all taste, effect, sent. 9.5/10
1g Super Loupe (cannaloupe haze x g13) 12 - very disappointed in taste as cannaloupe haze from various shops was really good last year. It just lacked that something else that grey area normally provide. A really good energetic high, smoked it in Sarphatipark and got roasted by the sun. Not good enough but the high standard cant always be maintained. 8/10
1g greyberry - gone down each time Ive had it over 3 years, was my fave the first trip so I always check if its back to its glory days. Again nice but nothing amazing. A generous 7/10
Katsu:
Walked past on the first day and it was shut. I was horrified. To my relief it was open the next day. Same friendly woman behind the bar. Refueled on tropical loozas and went back to the market.
1g Crystal Clear 20 - 1st class ice hash, as good if not better than I remember. You only need a little to be BUZZING. Put a lot and then see if youre a real smoker. Clear yet stupidly intense high. I LOVE IT. Didnt let the girlfriend try in case of a whitey, I rate it that highly. 9.5/10
2.5g Moroccan Ice 20- not ice like the crystal clear but a light pollen. Sticky with a really nice stone. Really good deal. 8/10

Summer 05: 18th-21st July:
I went with 3 mates (supposed to be 4 but 1 lost his passport the day before) and we stayed in the Delux apartment from Greenhouse effect, across the road from the shop above Hill Street Blues.( http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/hotel.html ) cost E160 a night for the 4 of us. 3 other of my mates were there on the same days and we travelled there and back with them- they stayed at the ibis east of Centrum.
£50 return for train from London Liverpool Street to Harwich, boat to Hook of Holland and train to central station. DEAL! But it took 9 hours on the way there and 8 on the return. Weather left much to be desired, rainy and windy but with splashes of sun. Every time I go (this was my 4th) A’Dam gets smaller and smaller, i used to think i couldn’t walk across the city in couple of hours, but i got to Katsu in next to no time.
Went to Coco’s twice- the .3 burgers are BIG. half price cocktails on the days- smoked allot in their too.
1 of my companions rented a bike from Fredric’s- a block south of Barneys. a little bust up but good value at E7 a day.
Was followed by a crack head with 1 stringed guitar for 10 mins or so in the RLD singing 'ive got one sting, fuck me, fuck you, fuck the world' over and over. i see the same zombies on each visit, its creepy. Seen the same little english man 3 trips in a row.
Purchases:
Picasso: Very nice and informative dealer, didn’t stay for long. Packed with locals.
1.5g Picasso- my mates fave from last time- sweet
5g Posin- an old fav of mine- still nice taste,stone,smell- it has everything
1.2g Primero - Picasso comes out on top with another hash
Pink Floyd: First coffeeshop we smoked in, up stairs 2 leather sofas. Breakfast looked good.
3g Himalayan-nice dark hash- good stone
Also tried Mothers Finest and Umma Gumma which were nice.
Amnesia: Most frequently visited shop of the trip. comfy seats, chess, nice n' cheap milkshakes, good music, TOP quality gear. Disappointed as i wanted some silver blue but it was some tiny buds and allot of dust.
1g Sensi star - more spicy than fruity but a good indica (carn’t touch MK ultra which is still off menu)
5g Cannaloupe Haze- fruity, strong- all you want form a sativa
5g Amnesia Haze- my favourite haze- full flavour, amazing smell and KO high
1g Hassan Supreme - nice pollen with full on buzz
1g Natural sin also looked at star trek and brain ticket, brain was hard, star was gooey and sin was unpressed like Gunpowder or Grey Areas crystals. Clean high, comes in HUGE waves.
Also had their non space, very nice shakes for E2.50. Sour Diesel was as good and sweet as ever. New cross strain Kursage (kush X sage) was disappointing.
Bulldog: Nice shakes, cheaper than Abraxas, I know its touristy but its not that bad to chill in for a bit.
8.6g Afghan- OK, not the best but a friends 4.3g blunt was nice
Bushdoctor: Small, decent but expensive menu.
1g Kali Mist ice- ive smoked moonshine no1 before but this toped it, heavy buzz but at the same time light headed. this stuff is NUTS!
Nes Cafe: Dingy and dark, limited by good organic menu, helpful dealer.
2.6g Grand Gru- v.nice dark hash, hard with nice active high.
2.1g Afgan - better than bulldogs
Rokerij- carnt remember
1.5g Great white Shark - ditto
Katsu: stopped to purchase, place was full of locals, conversation halted as we entered, the woman and man behind the counter exchanged jokes at our expense in Dutch (i think) and then went on to explain the menu. Not a nice feeling but it got better- got good tips on preparing Crystal Clear. Got some free roach and papers.
2.4g NLX+ - a nice change to hazes, great hybrid
1g Sage- smelled like they put the herb sage in the bag- taste was completely different- made my pallet water.
.5g Crystal Clear - best ice hash. so clean. the high is so good, overpowering yet relaxing
Central: in & out in 40 secs
5g Super Polm - got some shampoo on it on the travel back- ruined
4.2g manali charras - strong dark hash
GreenHouse effect: spent more time in the bar than the c-shop
1.5g Cannaloupe Haze - same as amnesias
2g Nepalese Temple ball - nice and soft
Tweede Kamer: Couldn’t stop coming back since I found this little delight on my 3rd trip. Menu has got bigger if that is possible. Riffman is on the main menu with a guarantee of no impurities.
1g Kali Mist - full sativa, smoked a pure joint and was HIGH
1g Stella Blue- comparable ot GA's batch
2g Neville’s Haze- stereotypical haze- STONG in every department
1g Jack Herer Haze- most expensive at E10/g but not the best. could only taste the haze
5g Super Silver Haze- spicy and peppery haze. i can still taste it .
3.5g NYCD- lovely taste, better than the sour this time round.
1g Shaharzade Sunrise- OH MY GOD ! the taste when you exhale is to die for, i could smoke only this hash while in dam. it looks light but tastes dark
1g Malika- at E14 a g it was the top Riffamn Hash and it didn’t disappoint, strong stony buzz
1g MAzzar-i-sharif- disappointing, very oily but not as strong as others
1g Super Tbizla- nice light hash, sweet taste and obvious maroc flavour.
Grey Area: Menu has got bigger with some big name additions.
3.5g Stella Blue- unique smell, same with the taste. one of the best

Fav hash: Shaharzade Sunrise, no competition. i will buy it every day i am in dam ever again. i cannot describe the amazing taste.
Fave skunk: Amnesia haze- for the strength. Stella Blue for taste.
Fave shop: Amnesia- combo of seats, loaction,quality make it the best
Fave spiffs: 1.5g NLX+ and .5g Crystal clear, 1.5g Neville’s Haze and 1g Kali mist ice. 2g Super Silver Haze .5g Natural sin. i smoked less zoots (spliffs) this time but the ones I did smoke were BIG.

January 2005:
It was my birthday, my 3rd trip, 3 mates, 3 nights – stayed at the Prins Hendrik hotel, forgot where we ate out. Easy jet flights, nice n cheap. A few samples of weed were smoked back in the UK but mostly in a’dam. On my second trip I was dragged into La Canna and the weed was shit and we got kicked out for not buying drinks –of us chipped in for 2g of cali (note lack of ‘k’) mist, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink as we skinned up, we said four tap waters after hearing the price of drinks. The service was awful and the green even worse, not dried or cured or flushed properly. Get better at home. Two of my mates were on their first times in the motherland were showing signs of highness and trying to justify the weed. I thought fuck that, within 20mins we were sat on stools in the Grey Area with loads of amazing weed holding on to the bar after smoking a few pulls being pulled into heavenly oblivion. Ever since GA has been my first port of call.
Grey area
3.5g Greyberry – one big juicy bud of goodness.
2g Grey Haze. Supreme quality as always.
3g Double Bubblegum. Sweet and fruity like it should be.
1g Moroccan Soles – great taste on the exhale.
Amnesia

Hands down the best indica over five trips, unique taste and KO high. Got a seed but the plant didn’t survive.
1g Sour Diesel – taste and high made one of my mates buy seeds.
1g Silver Blue (s pearl x b’berry) one of the best tasting herbs ive ever smoked.

9.2g Afghan Power E12.50 for almost 5g. no where near the best but ok. Also had some hash shakes and hot chocolate, just got tiny bits of hash stuck in my teeth. Watched Ali G film, a Dutch football game and the Big Lebowski. Smoked my own and paid for rip off drinks but it was ok.

It was empty except a table of lost souls; an army looking bloke, a woman in a wedding dress type thing, a sailor and some more playing cards. I swear I wasn’t that high to hallucinate that shit. Didn’t seem to welcome tourists. Rasta dealer was ok. I had a big grin when I walked out of there with two big 5g bags of some tasty blue berry and 5g of some widow looking stuff.
10g Blueberry – nice taste, relaxing mellow high. Perfect anytime smoke.
5g White Mellon . heard it was white widow X blueberry. White Mellon lacked a distinctive taste, so I threw it all in a massive 7g b’day spliff with other left overs laced with gunpowder. KA-BOOM.
Stix
5g Gunpowder – laced all my spiffs with this – giving the extra throat tickle. However wouldn’t do it again, think it was E60, it was nice to do on holiday with loads of cash but realistically its not the best option for taste or getting high. My mate who only was smoking hash coz the skunk mashes his head was rolling a hash blunt here, it broke, he went to get another and we spiked his blunt with a g of THC, 2 pulls his eyes were red and he could barley talk.
Tweede Kamer
1g SSH – really spicy. Best SSH ive had. Salt rock looking crystals, powerful high. This along with all the other products purchased put this shop, along with other visits, puts 2e Kamer at in my top 3 shops for smokeables.
1g Moonshine n.o.1 – first ice I ever smoked. Amazingly clear high and still ridiculously strong.
1g Edelwiss – smoked it on my first trip to dam, had to try it again, E7 per/g. light but nice.
1g NYCD – stank like you’d spilt some red grapefruit concentrate all over the buds, taste was even more intense, high was good.
1g Kali Mist – crystal infested buds , smoked it in a fat pure upstairs in Hill St Blues playing pool and it was SO smooth. Ultimate sativa.
1g Mothers Finest Haze – had the MF from Pink Floyd the year before and this built on an already strong base to be excellent. Purchased it the morning we had to leave, rolled a fatty, smoked half out side McD’s on Damrak. My 3 mates said it was 2 early. Puffed all I could, threw away a nice bit. Got to the airport 3hrs early with nout to smoke. Pissed.

Elephant- after a channels tip I tried it - so so. Nothing special here.
Hawaiian Haze – another tip from the forums; this made up for the elephant, taste was HAZEtastic. High was strong and my head was spinning. Had space shakes, better than bulldog –still over priced.

Summer 2004
Stayed at the Botel with 3 friends, think it was E90 for a double room per night. No smoking the green but they didn’t seem to mind. Really hot, could barley see walking up to the Botel because of the white walkway glaring in the blazing sun. Was woken every day at 8 or 9 with a 50ft drill drilling up the ground to the north of the Botel, I’ve seen that theses a new hotel there now. Bumped into two other mates unsuspectingly, they were staying in the Ibis. While walking near Grey Area I saw an open back WW2 truck driving through the narrow streets with what first looked liked barrels of hay. On closer inspection I saw weed leafs on the wrapping and branches poking out the side. We all ran like crazy after it, only to find it was a film prop. Homegrown Fantasy:
Found this accidentally. A friend got a pre roll. The next bit haunts me; as we entered a large (fat) ginger (carrot top) woman showed us the menu, it was mostly crossed off. I said what’s good, she said ‘cheese is our cup entry blah blah…’ I stopped listening when I heard it was called cheese, I didn’t want to smoke cheese. Little later find out it’s was a skunk n.o1 phenotype from the midlands and growers are going nuts for it. Then people on here stated to say how good it was. Now it’s what White Widow was to the 90’s and NYCD was to 2003+, its popping up everywhere. I did get some comfort from smoking as much blue cheese from Bluebird as I could in other trips (blue is wonderful smoke but id love some bloody cheese!, been to ask every trip since but mother died or something).
Smoked a nice fat blueberry flavoured blunt containing Greyberry (blueberry x bubblegum), Bubble 5#, Blueberry and a load of GA’s trichomes. Also tried to smoke a pure THC spliff. Put in half g, looked like a match. Didn’t burn very well, then closed my eyes and I was asleep. Woke up and felt retarded.

JAN 08
This is my sixth trip and the second in cold January. It was me, my two flat mates, my girlfriend and her mate. Went on the www.dutchflyer.co.uk for £59, missed the ferry on the way back and had to pay an extra £35 for a cabin as it sailed overnight. Stayed at the Delft apartment form Greenhouse Effect for E152 per night for 4 people.(http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/popdelft.html) Its above Hill Street Blues 2 looking out onto Nieuwmarkt. It was the perfect base, right on the edge of the red light, which was the deadest ive ever seen. Ate at Nomads – first time, great food and interior. Cocos – tokeing area was getting refurbished but you can still smoke at the front of the place, up two stairs – enjoyed a fattie of BBC here after the customary burger and frosty pint. Also went to some random Chinese which was E7 for a glass of juice and a fat plate of good food. Spent lots of time in Suzie’s Saloon and the GHE bar. Sorry if i make mistakes - ice o lator and the last bit of haze have invaded my brain .Three out of the five hardly smoked, with two of us going at it at full pace. It was my birthday earlier in the mouth so I intended to spend lots of cash and have a blast. And I did;
Hill Street Blues 2
1g Sage Haze E13 – first smoke, tasted good and hit the spot.
1g Northen Lights – E8 – nothing special, dwarfed by the Sage Haze.
1.2g HSB Special – 7.50 – good for price but nothing special!
Others: didn’t sell half grams, Amnesia Haze looked good but was E14.
Homegrown Fantasy
.5g Lemon Swazi E5 – smelt nice and organically lemony in the bag but flavor did not come through when smoking.
Others; no Cheese, no Amazing Haze and no Genie in the Lamp; more than half the menu was crossed out as usual.
Amnesia:
1g Caramella Cream E14 – dealer pulled out a huge chocolate bar of this stuff and bent it, untill it started to break andf the light interior showed itself. Sticky, oily and fucking lovely. Mouth watering after taste.
1g G13 Haze E14 – after seeing the Amnesia Haze i thought id buy that but when the dealer opened the G13 my mind was changed. Had a very strange and unique smell and taste. But FUCK did it pack a punch. Id heard the CC hype, didn’t believe it. After smoking a chunky spliff of this I was full on believing. Trippy shit – especially when mixed with G13xAmnesia Haze from Tweede Kamer. The high cut through the build up of a day of smoking many strains and drinking pints. It was intense.
1g Hawaiian Haze E13.50 – tasted good – just like the Abraxas Stuff I’ve tried before but with more haze. High was strong and came in waves.
1g NYCD E11.50 – not good for the price. Nice smoke and taste was good but lacked that full flavor you expect form a diesel. Dampkring’s version kicked this is the face.
1g Heavy Duty Fruity E8.50 – nice but not that fruity as the name suggest. High was there but not the taste.
.5g Sweet Tooth E5 – heard lots about it, was nice but i was not overly impressed.
.5g Hassan Supreme E5 – nice but was better last trip. Still nice.
.5g Honey B E7 - great tangy flavor, top sativa left me wanting more and more– will definitely get again.
Others; Amnesia Haze again looked good. On all visits the dealers were over friendly and more than welcome to answer questions.
Hunters Bar
1.6g Primera E22– dealer said it was the very best. It wasn’t that but it was a nice up pollen.
1g Big Buddha Cheese E9 – thought it to be the bees knees till I tried the GA version. Still good through.
1.2g Mango Madness aka Somango E16 – huge glistening buds, wins my award for best taste (apart form the hazes) with its almost too sweet flavor. High was strong aswell. Expensive but worth it. Smoked about .8 in a fat one for breakfast with a mango and some mango juice. Fucking top way to start the day. I would love to have got at least 5g of this but its so hard to purchase the same strain form the same shop with all the choice.
.5g Purps E5 – nice colorful buds. Dealer was annoyed when I asked for half a g. nice but didn’t convince me about purple strains in Dam.
Others; Somaui was dregs (Hawaiian bud x G13) and Somini ( KushxAfgani x G13) didn’t look up to much. Big menu, most things in stock. Went at midday and the Spanish dealer was definitely on speed; singing along really loudly, the way he stated into my eyes and his overall craziness were obvious signs. No MK Ultra either.
Grey Area
1g Lemon Skunk E11 – smelt citrusy and sweet. Tasted good, not as good as the smell but very nice. Not very skunky.
1g BBC E13 – slightly rotten smell- in the best way possible. The smell lingered in the air for ages. Pungent and tangy taste.
1g Greyberry E8.50 – very nice smoke and extremely good value. This shows the quality throughout the GA menu.
1g Yellow Cab E8.50 – heard it could be c99- its not but it’s an amazingly tasty smoke that could go for E12 on other menus. Fun high.
Others; no Chocoloupe or Sour Cream. Silverbubble was on its last legs. One word for the GA; Quality.
Tweede Kamer
1g Rifman Samihr E12 – nice strong sleepy stone.
.5g Rifman Christmas Special E8.50 – the best hash ive smoked, ever. It feels softer than blue tack, even the cold, is so sticky and the high is strong and lasting. Worth the money.
1g John Sinclair E10 – smoked it in a pure in Suzie’s – nice smooth sativa.
1g Laughing Buddha E9
.5g G13xAmnesia Haze E6.50 – strong mind numbing shit, not to be missed.
1g Super Silver Haze E10- does exactly what it says on the tin, killed my mate who’s first expericne it was in Dam. Strong and tasty – just how I like it.
Others; still the best menu in town with informative dealer. No Jala or two other Rifman products.
Barneys Lounge
1g Red Cherry Berry E12 – did what HDF should have. Had a strong fruity taste and a KO indica high. Mmmmm.
.5g Carmella Cream E9 – E5 more than in amnesia – not as sticky but still a top quality pollen
Others; first time in new Barneys – good service and nice seats. Will be back. My lightweight mate snoozed in here.
Bluebird
1.5g Sage ‘n’ Sour E12.50 – smoked it in a rips spliff while playing poker. The two strains separate have tastes to die for but they slightly cancel each other out when crossed. Still fruity taste and good high.
Others; smoked a bong in here, nice friendly staff. No Blue Cheese but the menu was equal between skunk and hash, whereas it used to be hash heavy.
Greenhouse Effect
1.1g GHE Special E10 – not as good as the HSB Special. Mediocre.
Others; NYCDxHaze – big buds, smell was good but E14 was a little too much. Amnesia Haze for the same price looked on good form.
Katsu
.8g Crystal Clear E20 – good value and amazing in bongs. Still have .4
.8g Haze Guris E5 – found out after buying that gruis meant pre grinded. My mate skinned up and it smelt proper good – I was surprised it was this. Another great deal.
.7g Northern Lights x Silver Pearl E5 – better than the HSB NL, nice mellow high with light taste.
Others; pure haze 1.5 for E20 didn’t look worth it. Talked to a Dutch man about his travels in china with 10g of hash oil. My favorite local shop. Had a hot chocolate costing E1.80, walked for 10 mins back towards the center and the same thing cost E3.50 in Mellow Yellow. Crazy.
Mellow Yellow
1g Orange Haze E11 – top quality taste and stone. I forgot how different strains can taste and this one hit all my taste buds with goodness. Its not orangey but what ever it is its quality stuff.
Others; was wondering if Bubblegum Haze on the menu here is the same as BB Haze form Noon?
The Noon
1.3g Blue Berry haze E13 – when the dealer opened the tupperware I new it was going to be to notch stuff. Tasted like smoking Wrigley’s juicy fruit gum and STANK when you smoked it. High was typical haze intensity. The rainbow of flavors this trip was so good; this was completely different from MY’s Orange Haze but just as tasty. And at E10 per g this could my top pick. Sticky and crystal covered.
2g Blueberry E13 – gone up from E11 last time and what used to be E22 for 5g has gone up to E24 for 4g. Nice bud, taste was mostly there but high wasn’t great.
Others; White Mellon was out of stock and still E11 for 2g and E22/4g. No cheeze. Full of Moroccans watching the African nations cup.
Dolphins
1g White Dolphin E10 – really good taste, not the strongest high.
Other; smoked a vaporizer of the WD. Good but I didn’t get round to trying a volcano.
Greenhouse Centrum
1g Alaskan Ice E10 – had a good taste, thick heavy smoke but slightly harsh.
Others; the Arjan’s Haze #1 and Ultra Haze #1 and #2 all were dregs and didn’t smell much, the Ultra Haze #2 smelt of chemicals. Hawaiian Snow was crossed off.
Pink Floyd/Dampring
2g NYCD E17 – put Amnesias version to shame, taste was exactly as it should be in a diesel- fresh and fruity. Smoked a fat spliff after a baguette with ham and cheese (E4). Yet another amazing deal. I know when I return with less money that the lower priced items can fully fulfill my needs . But it was my birthday I had the cash so I went nuts.
Others; table service (not weed) was good, the Scottish woman was mad.
Kadinsky
1g Bubblegum E9 – small rock solid bud, smoked on the ferry home. Was nice and put me to sleep effectively, but bubblegum always disappoints me. My mates went here while I was at Abraxas; I had a milkshake but the menu didn’t excite me as it was expensive and generic.
Rokerij IV
1g Lavender E9.50 – remembered that it was on my list to try- first spliff was disappointing, I did smoked it after the Mex Haze. 2nd spliff was much better – nice taste but a familiar one.
.5g Mexican Haze E6.50 – not as good as the sample I had from Tweede Kamer in the summer but was still very spicy and hazey.
.5g Jack Herer E4 – nice smell, nothing special.
Others; no Sour D, two locals asked after me so I guess this stuffs popular- E10/per g. Nice local shop.
The Coin
1g Mako Haze E10 – another I wanted to try when reading before I left – it wasn’t stand out but was nice and a good change to the other strains. Nice earthy and spicy flavor.
Other; the dealer here was not on speed. In here on the last day my mate lost his crystal catching grinder that had all the weed we smoked go through it. It was a strange last day full moon makes Amsterdam go crazy; along with the grinder 1g of BB, two pairs of gloves, some money were lost and a small silent smiling hooded woman followed us from near Kashmir Lounge to Leidseplein to my amusement but the girls horror.
Kashmir Lounge
1g Desert Bud E8.50 – the name always put me off – was pleasantly surprised with the rich slightly menthol taste and workable high.
Other; huge menu; 10 or so hashes from E2.50 to E18 and 15 strains of skunks and weeds. Planken smelt very nice. Only had an hour in here after getting lost on the way from Nomads. Best place in town to have a pint and spliff. DJ was sick, best music of the trip. The majority of music I heard from this trip was absolute WANK. Few Desmond Deckker tunes in Amnesia but it was mostly fucking Lilly Allen, JT or Amy Winehouse. Hardly any reggae or experimental electro/instrumental that’s good for chilling. Most places were blaring commercial shite, when your high hearing hard enough but with this crap some shops had to be left quickly – Mellow Yellow being the worst offender.
Central
2.5g Super Polm E12.50 – nice and sticky when you light and crumble it. Great deal
2.2g Black Bombay E12.50 – nice malleable dark hash – good in bongs.
Others; surprised to see them stocking Mako Haze and other higher end strains.
Anyday
1g Hash Haven E8.60 – nice indica with a sleepy high. Enjoyed the taste of this one
1g Stella Blue E9.20 Gone up by a few E’s since I last had it, but it was well worth it. Another strain cheaper on the overall spectrum of the center which could be E12+ on other menus.
1g Edelweiss E7.80 – nice white strain,
Others; disappointed I didn’t get the 5g deal or chill here as it was always busy. Nice shop, has a local feel.

JULY 06
5th trip in 3 years, it never gets dull and I could always stay a hell of allot longer. Last 4 times Ive been with the boys, this time went with the girlfriend, her first. Had a blast, Albert Cuyp market, the zoo, and many coffeshops. To top it off 36 degrees centigrade!!! Last summer it rained on my last day. I stayed at Hotel ABBA, got a 3person room for the price of a double, dunno why. Huge room. Highly recommendable. Ok, simple breakfast. Went two a nice Italian restaurant was good and Cocos was as good as ever. Same big burgers, chilled pints, 1/2 cocktails and you can smoke before you eat, smoke after you eat, hell smoke when youre eating. Outside was packed inside empty. Had the narrow bit at the side to ourselves, comfy couch. 1 problem: extremely hot, it needs air con. And lots of other stuff that i carnt remember right now. I may spell strains wrong and slightly misjudge prices but its not my fault, THC rearranged my brain.
Tweede Kamer:
Menu as big as ever. Sage 'n' Sour waterworks ice 38!!!! Ive had 25 moonshine No.1 but this is silly. Hawaiian beauty looked a very nice smoke.
1g Riffman Sharazad 8 - wanted sharazade sunrise but it was out, this was simaliar but not as nice. Still a nice light hash but with dark sticky traits. A good pollen. 8/10
1g Kali mist Haze 9 - had very high expectations but didnt compare to kali mist from the same shop last year, taste wasnt amazing but high was strong.6.5/10
Blue Bird:
Nice chill out, friendly staff great menu, good toastiest. Was tempted by Star Warz a great looking sensi star warlock cross and many others.
3.2g Blue Cheese 25 - I cant say how good this. Smell and taste are full on WOW!. Girlfriend hated the smell and the taste, its one of those on the boarder line nasty but incredibly nice pungent, it blows you away .best indica. A must. 9/10
Amnesia:
Yet again this proved to be the best hangout. Good music (reggae, hip hop, chill out), great smoothies (mango, strawberry, vanilla, are to die for) Lots of comfy seats. Never seems too busy. Close to Grey Area. Really good products. Best shop of the trip. Could have spent days here
1g NYCD 9.50-Still the diesel taste manages to blow me away ever time. grapefruity taste, makes your mouth water. Top quality. 9/10

1g Sage 'n' Sour 10.50 - I saw this last year and thought yes sage and sour diesel are amazing strains but 2 nice tastes=maybe not so nice, but they combine really well sweet in your face citrus taste. Smell is 10/10. Overall 8.5/10

Went coz most coffeeshops were shut, was already fucked. Paid 20 for 2 doubles- paid with a 50, got the change and was baffled till I saw the menu. Fuck that worse than London prices. Otherwise ok.
1g Sensi Star 9.50 - ran blue cheese close for best indica but lost on taste by a fair bit, the strong sleepy stone makes for perfect bedtime material. 7.5 almost 8/10

Grey Area:
The two DNA genetics strains I got were 12 a g, Grey haze, grey diesel and DNA's cannaloupe haze were 10 per g, all were sold out but I looked at sweet haze, not on the menu, which looked very good but my money was needed else where. I like the new menu its great. Still has the old goodies like 4077, yellow cab, grey mist, greyberry and ak47 for 7.50
4.5g Sour Cream (sour diesel x g13 haze) 52. THE BEST. got a g on day two went back for 3.5 when it was gone. Says it all. Pricey but well well worth it. Has it all taste, effect, sent. 9.5/10
1g Super Loupe (cannaloupe haze x g13) 12 - very disappointed in taste as cannaloupe haze from various shops was really good last year. It just lacked that something else that grey area normally provide. A really good energetic high, smoked it in Sarphatipark and got roasted by the sun. Not good enough but the high standard cant always be maintained. 8/10
1g greyberry - gone down each time Ive had it over 3 years, was my fave the first trip so I always check if its back to its glory days. Again nice but nothing amazing. A generous 7/10
Katsu:
Walked past on the first day and it was shut. I was horrified. To my relief it was open the next day. Same friendly woman behind the bar. Refueled on tropical loozas and went back to the market.
1g Crystal Clear 20 - 1st class ice hash, as good if not better than I remember. You only need a little to be BUZZING. Put a lot and then see if youre a real smoker. Clear yet stupidly intense high. I LOVE IT. Didnt let the girlfriend try in case of a whitey, I rate it that highly. 9.5/10
2.5g Moroccan Ice 20- not ice like the crystal clear but a light pollen. Sticky with a really nice stone. Really good deal. 8/10

Summer 05: 18th-21st July:
I went with 3 mates (supposed to be 4 but 1 lost his passport the day before) and we stayed in the Delux apartment from Greenhouse effect, across the road from the shop above Hill Street Blues.( http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/hotel.html ) cost E160 a night for the 4 of us. 3 other of my mates were there on the same days and we travelled there and back with them- they stayed at the ibis east of Centrum.
£50 return for train from London Liverpool Street to Harwich, boat to Hook of Holland and train to central station. DEAL! But it took 9 hours on the way there and 8 on the return. Weather left much to be desired, rainy and windy but with splashes of sun. Every time I go (this was my 4th) A’Dam gets smaller and smaller, i used to think i couldn’t walk across the city in couple of hours, but i got to Katsu in next to no time.
Went to Coco’s twice- the .3 burgers are BIG. half price cocktails on the days- smoked allot in their too.
1 of my companions rented a bike from Fredric’s- a block south of Barneys. a little bust up but good value at E7 a day.
Was followed by a crack head with 1 stringed guitar for 10 mins or so in the RLD singing 'ive got one sting, fuck me, fuck you, fuck the world' over and over. i see the same zombies on each visit, its creepy. Seen the same little english man 3 trips in a row.
Purchases:
Picasso: Very nice and informative dealer, didn’t stay for long. Packed with locals.
1.5g Picasso- my mates fave from last time- sweet
5g Posin- an old fav of mine- still nice taste,stone,smell- it has everything
1.2g Primero - Picasso comes out on top with another hash
Pink Floyd: First coffeeshop we smoked in, up stairs 2 leather sofas. Breakfast looked good.
3g Himalayan-nice dark hash- good stone
Also tried Mothers Finest and Umma Gumma which were nice.
Amnesia: Most frequently visited shop of the trip. comfy seats, chess, nice n' cheap milkshakes, good music, TOP quality gear. Disappointed as i wanted some silver blue but it was some tiny buds and allot of dust.
1g Sensi star - more spicy than fruity but a good indica (carn’t touch MK ultra which is still off menu)
5g Cannaloupe Haze- fruity, strong- all you want form a sativa
5g Amnesia Haze- my favourite haze- full flavour, amazing smell and KO high
1g Hassan Supreme - nice pollen with full on buzz
1g Natural sin also looked at star trek and brain ticket, brain was hard, star was gooey and sin was unpressed like Gunpowder or Grey Areas crystals. Clean high, comes in HUGE waves.
Also had their non space, very nice shakes for E2.50. Sour Diesel was as good and sweet as ever. New cross strain Kursage (kush X sage) was disappointing.
Bulldog: Nice shakes, cheaper than Abraxas, I know its touristy but its not that bad to chill in for a bit.
8.6g Afghan- OK, not the best but a friends 4.3g blunt was nice
Bushdoctor: Small, decent but expensive menu.
1g Kali Mist ice- ive smoked moonshine no1 before but this toped it, heavy buzz but at the same time light headed. this stuff is NUTS!
Nes Cafe: Dingy and dark, limited by good organic menu, helpful dealer.
2.6g Grand Gru- v.nice dark hash, hard with nice active high.
2.1g Afgan - better than bulldogs
Rokerij- carnt remember
1.5g Great white Shark - ditto
Katsu: stopped to purchase, place was full of locals, conversation halted as we entered, the woman and man behind the counter exchanged jokes at our expense in Dutch (i think) and then went on to explain the menu. Not a nice feeling but it got better- got good tips on preparing Crystal Clear. Got some free roach and papers.
2.4g NLX+ - a nice change to hazes, great hybrid
1g Sage- smelled like they put the herb sage in the bag- taste was completely different- made my pallet water.
.5g Crystal Clear - best ice hash. so clean. the high is so good, overpowering yet relaxing
Central: in & out in 40 secs
5g Super Polm - got some shampoo on it on the travel back- ruined
4.2g manali charras - strong dark hash
GreenHouse effect: spent more time in the bar than the c-shop
1.5g Cannaloupe Haze - same as amnesias
2g Nepalese Temple ball - nice and soft
Tweede Kamer: Couldn’t stop coming back since I found this little delight on my 3rd trip. Menu has got bigger if that is possible. Riffman is on the main menu with a guarantee of no impurities.
1g Kali Mist - full sativa, smoked a pure joint and was HIGH
1g Stella Blue- comparable ot GA's batch
2g Neville’s Haze- stereotypical haze- STONG in every department
1g Jack Herer Haze- most expensive at E10/g but not the best. could only taste the haze
5g Super Silver Haze- spicy and peppery haze. i can still taste it .
3.5g NYCD- lovely taste, better than the sour this time round.
1g Shaharzade Sunrise- OH MY GOD ! the taste when you exhale is to die for, i could smoke only this hash while in dam. it looks light but tastes dark
1g Malika- at E14 a g it was the top Riffamn Hash and it didn’t disappoint, strong stony buzz
1g MAzzar-i-sharif- disappointing, very oily but not as strong as others
1g Super Tbizla- nice light hash, sweet taste and obvious maroc flavour.
Grey Area: Menu has got bigger with some big name additions.
3.5g Stella Blue- unique smell, same with the taste. one of the best

Fav hash: Shaharzade Sunrise, no competition. i will buy it every day i am in dam ever again. i cannot describe the amazing taste.
Fave skunk: Amnesia haze- for the strength. Stella Blue for taste.
Fave shop: Amnesia- combo of seats, loaction,quality make it the best
Fave spiffs: 1.5g NLX+ and .5g Crystal clear, 1.5g Neville’s Haze and 1g Kali mist ice. 2g Super Silver Haze .5g Natural sin. i smoked less zoots (spliffs) this time but the ones I did smoke were BIG.

January 2005:
It was my birthday, my 3rd trip, 3 mates, 3 nights – stayed at the Prins Hendrik hotel, forgot where we ate out. Easy jet flights, nice n cheap. A few samples of weed were smoked back in the UK but mostly in a’dam. On my second trip I was dragged into La Canna and the weed was shit and we got kicked out for not buying drinks –of us chipped in for 2g of cali (note lack of ‘k’) mist, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink as we skinned up, we said four tap waters after hearing the price of drinks. The service was awful and the green even worse, not dried or cured or flushed properly. Get better at home. Two of my mates were on their first times in the motherland were showing signs of highness and trying to justify the weed. I thought fuck that, within 20mins we were sat on stools in the Grey Area with loads of amazing weed holding on to the bar after smoking a few pulls being pulled into heavenly oblivion. Ever since GA has been my first port of call.

Hands down the best indica over five trips, unique taste and KO high. Got a seed but the plant didn’t survive.

3.1g Willy Nelson – awful. Same as Jamaican in the UK except worse. Taste like burning metal. (I didn’t purchase this, I already knew it was the McDonalds of coffeshops)
1.5g Temple Ball – again not my purchase, it was ok.
9.2g Afghan Power E12.50 for almost 5g. no where near the best but ok. Also had some hash shakes and hot chocolate, just got tiny bits of hash stuck in my teeth. Watched Ali G film, a Dutch football game and the Big Lebowski. Smoked my own and paid for rip off drinks but it was ok.
Noon
It was empty except a table of lost souls; an army looking bloke, a woman in a wedding dress type thing, a sailor and some more playing cards. I swear I wasn’t that high to hallucinate that shit. Didn’t seem to welcome tourists. Rasta dealer was ok. I had a big grin when I walked out of there with two big 5g bags of some tasty blue berry and 5g of some widow looking stuff.
10g Blueberry – nice taste, relaxing mellow high. Perfect anytime smoke.
5g White Mellon . heard it was white widow X blueberry. White Mellon lacked a distinctive taste, so I threw it all in a massive 7g b’day spliff with other left overs laced with gunpowder. KA-BOOM.
Stix
5g Gunpowder – laced all my spiffs with this – giving the extra throat tickle. However wouldn’t do it again, think it was E60, it was nice to do on holiday with loads of cash but realistically its not the best option for taste or getting high. My mate who only was smoking hash coz the skunk mashes his head was rolling a hash blunt here, it broke, he went to get another and we spiked his blunt with a g of THC, 2 pulls his eyes were red and he could barley talk.
Tweede Kamer
1g SSH – really spicy. Best SSH ive had. Salt rock looking crystals, powerful high. This along with all the other products purchased put this shop, along with other visits, puts 2e Kamer at in my top 3 shops for smokeables.
1g Moonshine n.o.1 – first ice I ever smoked. Amazingly clear high and still ridiculously strong.
1g Edelwiss – smoked it on my first trip to dam, had to try it again, E7 per/g. light but nice.
1g NYCD – stank like you’d spilt some red grapefruit concentrate all over the buds, taste was even more intense, high was good.
1g Kali Mist – crystal infested buds , smoked it in a fat pure upstairs in Hill St Blues playing pool and it was SO smooth. Ultimate sativa.
1g Mothers Finest Haze – had the MF from Pink Floyd the year before and this built on an already strong base to be excellent. Purchased it the morning we had to leave, rolled a fatty, smoked half out side McD’s on Damrak. My 3 mates said it was 2 early. Puffed all I could, threw away a nice bit. Got to the airport 3hrs early with nout to smoke. Pissed.
Abraxas
Elephant- after a channels tip I tried it - so so. Nothing special here.
Hawaiian Haze – another tip from the forums; this made up for the elephant, taste was HAZEtastic. High was strong and my head was spinning. Had space shakes, better than bulldog –still over priced.

1g pollen – Picasso maybe? We were in the top bit of the shop on the wooden benches high as clouds. Someone took a photo and this tramp/santa looking guy gets up and starts shouting ‘Is it legal?!?’ over and over again. We promptly left.

Summer 2004
Stayed at the Botel with 3 friends, think it was E90 for a double room per night. No smoking the green but they didn’t seem to mind. Really hot, could barley see walking up to the Botel because of the white walkway glaring in the blazing sun. Was woken every day at 8 or 9 with a 50ft drill drilling up the ground to the north of the Botel, I’ve seen that theses a new hotel there now. Bumped into two other mates unsuspectingly, they were staying in the Ibis. While walking near Grey Area I saw an open back WW2 truck driving through the narrow streets with what first looked liked barrels of hay. On closer inspection I saw weed leafs on the wrapping and branches poking out the side. We all ran like crazy after it, only to find it was a film prop. Homegrown Fantasy:
Found this accidentally. A friend got a pre roll. The next bit haunts me; as we entered a large (fat) ginger (carrot top) woman showed us the menu, it was mostly crossed off. I said what’s good, she said ‘cheese is our cup entry blah blah…’ I stopped listening when I heard it was called cheese, I didn’t want to smoke cheese. Little later find out it’s was a skunk n.o1 phenotype from the midlands and growers are going nuts for it. Then people on here stated to say how good it was. Now it’s what White Widow was to the 90’s and NYCD was to 2003+, its popping up everywhere. I did get some comfort from smoking as much blue cheese from Bluebird as I could in other trips (blue is wonderful smoke but id love some bloody cheese!, been to ask every trip since but mother died or something).
Smoked a nice fat blueberry flavoured blunt containing Greyberry (blueberry x bubblegum), Bubble 5#, Blueberry and a load of GA’s trichomes. Also tried to smoke a pure THC spliff. Put in half g, looked like a match. Didn’t burn very well, then closed my eyes and I was asleep. Woke up and felt retarded.
