Amsterdam, and more importantly Mellow Yellow wouldn't be in hell in the first place Sh@dstersh@dy wrote:Have you walked to to Mellow Yellow at the end of a "hard" day in Amsterdam? We have done so almost everytime we visited.....the last 2 times we used the trams. Going to MY after a hard walking-day in Amsterdam is like hell on earthAsh333 wrote:YOUR JOKING, RIGHT? Endure
I made this a while back for my trip (disregard some of the random stuff on there if not interested)...
Full map:

The key is
- blue dots are my favorite coffeeshops
- coffeecups are other coffeshops that are pretty well reviewed
- martini glasses are drinking places but not all allow smoking
- fork and knife are places I like to eat in Amsterdam
- cameras are sights to see
- volcano is a club
- wrenches are good head shops
If you find MY and zoom in, you will see a tram station just south of it. The groovy thing about google maps is you can click on the tram station and it will tell you which lines. Looks like 16, 24 and 25 are the ones. Just need to find the closest to you on your end.
For Blue Bird, looks like the Nieuwmarkt is closest--tram 51 then walk.
I have considered putting the spots on the map here on my map, but I definitely do not want to undermine Lemming's great work here...but you can search for other stuff.
