Massive Attack Westerpark 3rd July
Massive Attack Westerpark 3rd July
Got tickets to see Massive Attack in the Westerpark on Thursday 3rd July. Haven't organised flights or accommodation yet but we'll get there somehow. 3rd July is coincidentally also the 10th birthday of the ACD.
Always happy to meet up with others in town at that time. More details when I get organised.

Can be found at 420, Illusia Road growing my own
The tickets have arrived in the post now
and we've got some accommodation. Just need to book flights. Looks like we'll be arriving Wednesday 2nd July and leaving Sunday 6th July.
Another factor to consider is that these will be the first days of the smoking ban. It's still not completely clear to me how that will work. Maybe DC could tell us whether he thinks the Volcano will still be going in Nes.
Yeah, me too. I hope they still play it, it's probably my favourite song of the '90s. My girlfriend's favourite is the Protection album but I think they peaked at the beginning with Blue Lines. It's crazy, the band are from Bristol (20 miles from where I live) but I've never seen them live. Now we're going all the way to Amsterdam to see them.cantona7 wrote:would love to hear unfinished sympathy live
There should be shouldn't there. We'll actually be in the Westerpark at the gig on the 3rd. Maybe we could celebrate the beginning of the day at midnight. Alternatively, if the gig ends early enough, we could meet up after in somewhere over that side like the new Barneys Uptown. Then again we could be a day late (we're late for most things so it seems appropriate) and celebrate on the Friday.Szyslack wrote:Will there be a meet-and-celebrate-ACD-thing coming on?

Sounds good to me, an evening session culminating in a birthday toast at midnight. Anyone else like to join us?Szyslack wrote:I think the idea of celebrating @ 00.01 July 3rd is most appealing as I am going home Jul 4th early morning...
Absolutely. Nes has an open bit at the front too so, presumably, it will be possible to smoke there. Fancy joining us Puffin?Puffin13 wrote:Why wouldnt the Volcano still be going on? The ban is on tobacco; not on cannabis. Peace.
