Basjoes - 2 of the nicest most welcoming people I've come across anywhere.
Stix - either shop but the one on Korte Koningstraat has the better view.
Paradox - If I lived in Amsterdam this coffeeshop would be my local no matter what part I lived in, I've been lots of times and never felt like I shouldn't be there.
Nes cafe - No longer sell the herb but it will always be special thanks to the staff who are all awesome plus they sell beer and you can smoke in there.

Stix - for the Temple Balls
Rastababy - for the outdoor area and conservatory
Mellow Yellow - for the quality of weed and sentimental reasons
Can i include a non-amsterdam one - would have been Sarasani (but its now closed

) so Bordeaux Road
If thats not allowed, my 4th Amsterdam choice would be either Bluebird, Betty Too or Greenhouse Centrum

Hard to pick favourites as I like most of them I have been to but here's my choice of the top of my head without thinking too much.
The Coin - I just love this place to chill out in the evening before I go for a wonder round town and always buy some temple ball in there.
Grey Area - Not a place to chill unless it's near empty then I would stop for a coke and a smoke, but I always drop in and buy a few different strains and rarely disappointed.
Katsu - Further down south and not always room to stop off, but they got nice smoke (pre bagged is the only problem) and is nice to stop if not too busy. Had a pinball machine last time I went which was great fun after their crystal clear.
Homegrown Fantasy - Nice stop off in the day as it is a great atmosphere, very cafe like which I like during the day. Shame to hear it is closing next year so make the most of it now.
*I know I shouldn't pick another, but if I want to play pool I usually go to Route 99 which I like also.

Dampkring (like the PF location too - my favorite for weed and atmosphere)
Blue Bird (atmosphere)
Siberie (hash and cute bar girl

)
Noon/Mellow Yellow (don't like either place to hang out - like the weed very much)

mellow yellow- great herb, cool shop, lots of variety, pinball machine on the second level.
twede kamer-great selection, great herb, sorta small shop but i seem to always have a pleasant conversation with someone or even the budtender and i always walk out smiling.
barneys - lots of selection, they have some nice herb normally and across the street from the coffeeshop there is a nice restaurant/bar to drink in or have breakfast.. i enjoy the irish breaky. they also have a lounge which is cool and there pita toastie is amazing!!!
and betty boop 2 as ms cheese loves the shop, and they had some great herb on my last visit...also a 2 level shop..upstairs during the week was very quite and peaceful to have a nice joint.

Mellow Yellow - absolute favourite of mine. the weed is always the best from whole amsterdam/netherlands. its great to chill out, never crowded...best shop!
Dampkring(Pink Floyd) - cool atmsphere, nice dealer (it has always been the same guy who served us

) and the weed is just top notch!
Relax (Sittard) - this is definitely the best shop outside of Amsterdam...its near to the border and with the new menu it always gets us some really good smoke without having to drive to Amsterdam
The Pink (Eindhoven) - Like this shop because of the atmosphere. The weed is very good, the prices are a bit high, but who cares. everyone is friendly and we never had a rip off there
