The Amsterdam Ice Bar

Has anyone been here before?? Near the Rembrandtplein apparently. I didn't even know it existed until I was reading about an ice bar in Finland and it gave a list of other cities that have them. I would love to go just for the gimmick, not sure about prices or anything but might have to check it out when I manage to go over the summer.

just looked up on the internet, it would seem to be a step in fridge that serves cold drinks. claims that everything is made of ice - even the glasses!

might just take a look - going back on the 14th, will report back.

I never thought of searching it on youtube, there are actually some good videos on there that give a good view of what it's like inside. I saw my friends pictures on facebook when he went last summer and they looked good.

I would just like to go for a bit of fun and have an ice cold Heineken or shot out of an ice shot glass on a hot summers day. Guess I am easily amused.

i went in february.. pretty cool bar.. cool lighting and all.

people were very friendly.. in february they had alot of specials on drinks.. i think a shot was only 2 euro and a beer only 3 euro..

i didnt stay long as Mrs. cheese isnt much of a drinker..

its right on the amstel near the rembrantplein.. just keep walking past bushdoctor and its right across from the opera hall.

it didnt seem very busy in february.. but again it was february
