Spur of the moment trip

Post by dstrkt »

First post here so ... HI!

Thought I'd treat myself today so booked a trip leaving wednesday.. Not been for few years so it's long overdue! Haven't been on my own before either so it's all rather exciting.

Any tips for travelling alone? Any places I should go to that I may be unaware of?

Thanks in advance

P.S, anyone there between 21-25 May up for hooking up for smoke + drink(s) that'd be cool

The only thing that comes to mind is advice I was given on my first trip from several years ago, that being alone to. And that was to keep to the more populated areas. Any dark or quieter streets, I'd try to avoid them at night if you can.

I'm prob going to go alone on this trip also, but thats not for a number of months yet.

Cheers folks.

Yeah, avoiding the dark alleys etc is always a good idea even if in a small group.

Nothing else I should know then? Good good

Not long now... Here comes the excitement 8)

Time to leave!

I'll post and let you know how I'm getting on if I can get access to a computer (and am in a fit enough state to use it)

Most coffeeshops have internet anyways, so you should be able to post back m8.

I sure love the idea of a spur of the moment trip. Something I'll prob never be in the position to do again due to having a family. Your bloody lucky in that respect. Hope you have a great trip all the same. I often love the idea of going by myself as you dont have to take into account what others might want to do or where they might want to go.

It's others in my group in the past 2 trips that buggered up a much wanted trip to Haarlem!!!. Something which I fully intend to be top of my list this year!.
