Hey
Am of to the Dam this Friday for 4 days and am wandering what places are a must to see as its my 1st time back to the Dam in like 5 years

If you like rock music I would definitely recommend Excalibur, I use it as my local for a few beers whenever I am in town.

Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 171 which is just off Dam Square and round the corner from Abraxas.

whats the vibe in here? would quite like to try it tho absinthe is rocket fuel. whats the bar like,staff. etc?

Can't say I have ever been there myself - I have to admit for 2 or 3 years I thought it was on Oudezijds Voorburgwal which explains why I always had trouble finding the dam place, although I must have walked past it a hundred times!!

Boom Chicago - Leidseplein - Great place for a few beers in the sun.
Ricks Cafe - in the RLD - Not bad green and another place to sit outside in the sun.
Stix Coffeshop - on Korte Konnigstraat
Have a blast man.........

try out club escape in the rembrantplein..
