my name is wil i will be in amsterdam in july, not sure where yet... if anyone here lives in amsterdam and could help me with getting acommodation or a job (preferably in a coffee shop!) i would be stoked.

Come on, you just posted a similar thread 5 days ago. Have you contacted the Netherlands embassy in Australia yet? For what most coffeeshops pay their new employees, you should come with plenty of money to be able to afford a place to stay.

i have contacted them, i have also read through many application forms, web pages and a few european books, all of which are horribly confusing. i understand i made a post a few days ago, however as i only have not much time left to get this visa thing worked out i am trying to get all possible help i can. if you think my questions are repetitive and annoy you i am sorry, i am just trying to get to amsterdam and have my little escape from work here in aus. again thanks all who have taken the time to help me out.
