2 right. If we had been given the choice i would have taken the euro but at the end of the day we have power hungry people who decide not the public.
would have been easier, Jump on a plane and spend your usual pocket change. Now we are very poor and its not getting any better.

m8 soz to upset you but the £ is not worth nothing now the Euro is king of the world. And if only the Guilder would return but its not they know they are better off with the Euro.

well according to google and travelex the pound today is 1.18 euro....so still worth more....but yes a hell of a lot less since we let the dickheads take over the uk govt

Bloody hell, I'd use a better source for exchange rates if I were you m8!. The Post Office closed today at €1.2274 as the tourist rate. You can also order at the online rate and pick-up at your local post office.

Still, a far cry from the days when the Euro was worth near 50% more than the current rate.

i just picked that as an example to show the pound is still worth a bit more but not as much as it used to be ...sadly...i've found there are better rates in amsterdam,but always get enough for getting there and 24 hours.... before i go and usually from the post office

This topic has morphed into an amusing discussion. Allow me to add my penny's worth...I have been to the dam about 20 times since "75 and earlier it was much cheaper...a given...nowadays, I bring $1000.00 to spend on weed and food, although I use the plastic for big meals and I always have more weed than I can smoke but I usually have money left over...I normally stay 8 days sometimes 15 and I nearly always return to the states, fried, happy and holding about 120 euro. Can you spend 5k in 5 days yea but...
a little exaggeration is ok, he is only 19 and it was his first time...hell if he smoked that much he probably could not tell the difference between reality and fantasy. I met him at Gray Area, as did ash33, and he was higher than a kite...even if the story has shifted to a little exaggeration...Personally, I think that it is impossible for one (1) person to smoke 5k worth of weed and hash in 5 days...but I would like to try.
