hi all

just wondering if anyone has any reports on coffee shops preparing themselves for the new law on july first, are they making new sections just for smokers? also as the ban doesn't apply to weed is it really necessary ?

do you think that coffee shop staff will be strict about no tobacco, say if you used a little in a joint would they notice over the smell of the weed or would they even care?

barneys, pink floyd/dampkring are getting a refurb, prob something to do with the ban!!

i will say the government will make the coffeeshops care. they will be hit big if they dont follow rules.

yeah i reckon your right...do you think if u had a pre rolled joint that had a little tobacco in it and smoked it inside the coffe shop could they tell whats inside...gonna miss me weed/tobacco smokes! better get used to pure weed joints...

I honestly dont think everythings going to become pure weed joints. Sure a lot of Americans like to smoke pure, but a lot of Europeans including the Dutch roll with tobacco. Quite what will happen remains to be seen I guess, I personally think people will still be able to roll with tobacco and smoke it in the coffeeshops, if not then outside them, which would suck.

weemanio seems right, the coffeeshops wont want to risk their license over some tobacco, but who knows...

I read that as a EU rule the coffeeshops can't lose their license if someone lights up a tobacco joint, I have a feeling there will be little posters/stickers saying so and if caught then the person smoking will get a fine.

I can honestly say I've never tried a pure rolled weed joint ever!. And to be honest I'm a little unsure why. But almost certainly to make my gear stretch out longer and being as much of a hash person as weed person.

Some questions that are bugging me right now, the first being can I\us Europeans get used to pure rolled?. And in doing so would it be normal due to what, twice the weed inside to smoke only half a joint at a time or supposed to smoke the full bugger and spend twice the cash on weed lol?.

Also anyone any ideas on how acceptable putting non tobacco mixers (weather any good or not is a different matter lol) in a joint will be in a coffeeshop outsize the sealed rooms of shops that have not had the work done?. I know in theory non tobacco mixers should be fine. But I guess loads will even mix that with 50/50 tobacco lol.

Dave, you NEVER smoked a pure spliff? wow to me coming from NY thats shocking bec its all we do here. soo heres my opinion. a 1 gram joint is still a one grammer with or without tobacco, the tobacco just makes it bigger but doesnt get u any higher. so if you smoke a 1 gram joint without tobacco it seems to me that you just might finish it a couple minutes sooner but it shouldnt make u less high, that should be the same no matter what shoudnt it? my understanding is u add the tobacco only to make the joint smoother right?

Sure.

But usually when I smoke really good stuff I never use more than maybe 0.2-0.3 grams in a joint, since I dont need more to get real high.

Without tobacco, smkoig a pure 0.2 joint. I think it would look funny

I'm almost 100% certainly going to try a pure joint in november. NirvanaEJ, you answered my next guestion into how much goes into a pure polled joint my friend. Man that is way to much for most europeans. Not so much on the cost front as strength front. 1 gram would almost certainly do me for 3 joints, with a little left over to mix with something else for a forth if I'm lucky.

So you may understand how confused some of us Europeans may feel on the issue?. We certainly wont get used to it overnight. So in the meantime a half decent non tobacco mixer is the only alternative.

just to clarify i smoke by myself and almost never smoke a joint because big ones waste too much and small one are too much a pain in the ass. i could roll up .5 but its much easier to toss it in a bowl. for a 1 grammer its gotta be 2 ppl or more (except in the dam

yeah i do see where u are coming from on the tobacco issue, but i think over time u will see and feel the joys of smoking pure weed without the interference of tobacco

It's kind of funny on the different custom's. I for one have never smoked a joint with tobacco in it,always smoke them pure. And I usually get two joints per gram. They seem to be about the right size that way.
