Sounds like someone else a little pissed off at Easyjets delay in releasing the rest of the winter flights lol.

But cant give my dates untill I know the flight details and prices for sure.

I very much doubt it sadly m8. The main problem is that the tobacco thing is law. The best that you can hope for in Haarlem is that more hotels will allow you to smoke tobacco or mixed joints with tobacco in the rooms. Either that or the coffeeshops in Haarlem might be in a better position to make the adjustments to accomodate tobacco users than the coffeeshops in Amsterdam?.

I said some time ago I thought the coffeeshops would turn a blind eye and if you look at Mattys trip report I'd say it's almost a given:
RE - Smoking Ban - I asked quite a few budtenders about this and they all seemed to share a similar opinion - "only tobacco is to be banned but how the hell are we gonna enforce this? - go round checking everyones reefers - i don't think so!" - most agreed that they'd just carry on as normal and see what the police/authorities do about it. Most seem to think nothing will happen and it'll just go on as normal - one guy said that they'd ban only cigarettes, not spliffs with tobacco in - still seems a bit up in the air to me!

I've always been of the opinion that due to the exact points you raised Boner that we are still looking at a good year before these such issues are cleared up properly.

It's like it's been said many times on a number of boards that there is no way, simply no way at all that there is any real way to know if a person has mixed tobacco with there joint unless they are seen to break up a ciggy in front of them!. And lets face it nobody is going to do that, but have some broken up in a grinder or something before they go into a coffeeshop and carefully add some tobac when nobody is looking.

How can the coffeeshops be held responsable on what a person puts in there joints, just as long as they make sure they are not smoking pure ciggs or a hand rolled ciggy?.

It's certainly going to be interesting come july to see what happens. As clearly people are still going to mix tobacco with there joints as they know the scent of tobacco is not going to be notable due to the scent of the hash or weed.

I just wander if possably, just possably that tobacoo as a mixer only will be tollerated, but kept illigal in the same way that cannabis is illigal but tollerated?. At least for the coffeeshops or places that allow a joint to be smoked?.

The same way a coffeeshop is responsible to stop under 18's going in I suppose or not to allow the sale/use of hard drugs, if their license is at risk they'll be doing everything to stop anyone from using tobacco.

As an ex-tobacco smoker I can smell tobacco in the air in coffeeshops.

Interesting, always thought tobacco smoke is to weak to be noticed compared to that of cannabis in the same smoke?.

Ah well thats another theory out of the window lol.
