published: Friday, June 06 2008, 11:12AM

From Friday evening (June 6), the light show work by Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda will be visible on 4 locations in Amsterdam.

From the Dream Amsterdam website:
Ikeda will use pure light as the material for his interventions in four locations under the title of spectra :: amsterdam. His intensely bright light installations will appear mysteriously, connecting connecting a constellation of points across the cityscape.

The installations can be seen from June 6 to June 21 in the evening hours, on these 4 locations:

1. Vondelpark (Music Pavillion), 9pm-midnight
2. Van Gogh Museum, 9pm-midnight
3. Westergasfabriek (Water Basins) - 9pm-midnight
4. Head of the Java Island, 9pm - 2am (bus 42 from Central Station)

Here is a map of these locations.
You can zoom in on the map to find the exact locations.
