Best batteries for a DSLR camera?

Post by jollylittlehun »

Hi, just bought a fuji s9500 camera for my trip to Amsterdam this Thursday, only 3 days away!!! :D

Anyway just wondering if anyone can recommend some AA batteries to use with the camera, disposables or rechargeables. If your recommending rechargeables can you tell me what charger you use aswell??

Thanks in advance.

If you go to your local electronics shop they will tell you the best re-chargeable batteries to use and the charger that they need.

Then just a matter of taking an adapter to plug in your battery charger. Any multi-european plug adapter aught to do the job!.

True.Because isn't the adapter for continental Europe different than that in the U.K?

When you buy rechargables look for the highest amphour rating (Ah).

Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) are better than Nickel Metal Halide (Ni-MH) which are better than Nickel Cadmium (NiCad).

Yes, the UK tends to use a 3 prong, point or whatever the termanology is plug lol. While the rest of Europe uses a 2 point plug system.

The funny thing is that I'm sure here in the UK we also used to use the 2 point plug?.

I have the fuji 5600 and always use 2700 rechargeable batteries. I take approx 300 photos every weekend in pubs and clubs to post on our site (google my name if anyones interested) anyways, one full charge lasts me all weekend so long as I use the viewfinder to take pics and not the lcd.

You will find that these high power batteries are good for all digital cameras, forget your duracells, everreadys ect and get some decent rechargeables.

Probs a little late but may help someone.
