weed friendly bars?

Post by Dear Landlord »

anyone know of any or direct me to a good list? Just somewhere in the evening I can sit and have a joint and a beer? I was planning on maybe chilling in the park until early evening but it looks like it's going to be raining when I get there next week.
Also, on the subject, what are the dutch laws like for drinking in public, ie a couple of beers/ bottle of wine in the park?

Cheers. :)

I know I've been to NES about 2 or 3 times. But for some reason I cant recall what it was like as it certainly never stood out for me.

Not saying the place is crap or easily forgettable. Just that it's 1 of those places you possably find back home than something different in Amsterdam I recall lol.

Will certainly be on my list of smoker friendly bars to visit in any case!.

The entrance vestibule at 't Nes is my favorite place to drink and smoke. Always some action to watch in the steeg.

Is The Book still there, no mention of it on the board lately.

cheers,
chuckje.

just come back from dam last night, and i found one in a great location, its called SUSIES SALOON, its next to ricks cafe, you can buy beer, not weed, but you can smoke your own gear here as they have pots full of rizzla and tips, also do good food, have outside tables too which is great for people watching, hope this helps, also STONES cafe bar on warmoustraat, you can smoke your own gear in there too, BUT GUYS REMEBER THINGS WILL CHANGE 1ST JULY all different in different coffeeshops,

i suspect it may not be that popular amongst many here, but my favouite smoker friendly bar is stones cafe in the red light distrcit.

i have been there every single time ive been to the dam.

because of its location, and the people in there, its a livelier trype of place, which i love, coz it perks u up again at 10pm, when i would blatantly be struggling to stay awake after a long day smoking, if i was chilling in the rokerij or somewhere

theres not really much that i can sell to you about it, service is friendly, shows all the english football games, has a pool table, and gets quite loud and hectic on the weekend evenings. fairly typical of the RL district really, but for what ever reason, we've adopted it, and we love it.

Cheers everyone. I like smoking in the day but I like to have a couple of beers in the evening and make a night of things. It's a holiday after all! Thanks!
