must buy weed to smoke in coffeeshop?

I've heard some stories on here of not being allowed to smoke weed unless it's been bought from that shop. Any shops I should avoid? I always buy a coffee, coke or beer to go with by spliff.

Bushdoctor is one to avoid. I ordered a drink and the bitch insisted I buy drugs too. I already had drugs.

I had arranged to meet my friend in Rockland on monday past as his hotel was close. I had a backpack full of Ganjay and some very red eyes. upon entering rockland I asked for a coke. the guy gave me my coke. I went to sit at a table to roll up a spliff and wait for my friend. The Budtender then asked if I was going to buy weed. I said no, I have loads of weed, i'm just waiting on my friend to arrive. I was told I had to buy weed or leave. I left. I stood right outside his shop, with my coke and waited for my friend. my friend arrived and wanted to go in and buy weed. the Budtender was sitting outside at this point and could hear everything we were saying. I just told my friend what had happend and there was no way I was letting him spend any hard earned in there. We went to Softland instead.

ive never had that experience.

the only place that ive been asked to leave because i brought weed in was 'bar med', near high wycombe

Happened to me in Softland in January.

yeah, i knew there was a couple of places. I can't remember where we went last time. Definitely Dampkring, Hill Street Blues and Abraxas and they were all fine with it. I'll probably just go to weed friendly bars when i'm not buying anyway.
