One more week

Heading over to the Dam next friday and I can't wait!

I've been about a dozen times but not for a couple of years and weed wise things really seem to have changed.

I used to buy from a few places but most notably Bluebird (recommended to me by a local called Otto whose barge I was staying on just around the corner but thats a whole story in itself...)

Going through the forum it looks like Mellow Yellow, Katsu and the Grey Area seem to be the places to go for weed and Dampkring, Basjoe and Bushdoctor look good for solids.

Would people agree with that?

Im staying at le Coin on Nieuwe Doelenstraat, anyone stayed there?

Oh and Prix D'ami looks like the place to go for a bit of a pool session but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Any ideas or thoughts regarding the above or just any suggestions/advice would be very appreciated

Ello mate....i went to the Bluebird 3 times whilst there last week....tried the Cheese...and it was yummy yum yum...we only went in for an hour or so but you know how it is!!

I hate people staring at me ( paranoia sets in ) ...but i could not help looking at this old guy trying to roll up a doobie...i lost count of the number of times he dropped his roach...bent down to pick it ...dropped his roach...etc etc etc.....a guy's gotta get his laughs somehow!!

Welcome, Le Coin looks like a nice place and it seemed to get good reviews from tripadvisor.

Tokeonthat, I love Bluebird, I'll certainly be checking it out again.

I know what you mean about getting a bit para in there, I've had that when it's been my first stop of the trip and you've not quite got your eye in yet...

Funnily enough I've just been scanning the coffeeshop reviews and making a list of places to visit and I'd just added The Coin when I saw this post, Sounds great, I'm so excited!!

Here is the list I've made so far, what do you guy's think?

Home Grown Fantasy An institutiuon that is shutting down very soon

Abraxas Tourist friendly with lots of small rooms over 3 floors

Bluebird Huge selection and very cheap

The Coin Opens at 7am, very chilled and next door to the Sower

Bars

Nes Smoker friendly bar with great reputation

Sower Open till 3 at the weekend with pool, darts, etc

MY really is not small. Quite large for a cs actually. Tweede Kamer, I would consider to be a small shop. Have a hempy time! Peace.

Dolphins is a place to go to seriously chill...they have a downstairs bit with reeeeeeeealy comfy sofas.....the White Dolphin they do there is great....and it all comes in a dolphin friendly bag....apparently...never been in a position to actually test that theory yet!!

Yeah sounds pretty safe I would say, although I not been to the Bushdoctor myself. If the Grey Area have the Golden Soles hash in then I would recommend that too.

My personal favourite hangout for the past 3 or 4 years. Definitely try their Temple Ball, I have yet to be disappointed with it after purchasing on pretty much all my trips.
