The stage with the cushions is now in the back where the pool table used to be and its sectioned off as a smoking area, or it was in august while I was there

Nice thread.

Easy one, downstairs at Hill Street Blues on a comfy vandalized couch.

I'd have to say my two other favorite spots, if I could be sitting there right NOW, would be either the front window at De Kuil staring at those yummy looking waffles across the way or sitting in front of Green Place at night, people watching.

For me it has always been Lost In Amsterdam. It is the most comfy place in dam i've ever found the staff are always top notch and the tunes are wocked too.

I love LIA also. Cool vibe there and great staff.

Used to be the seat at the end of the counter in front of the couch at the BlueBird looking out at the portal for the Zuiderkerk. Now that is the tobacco area. :( Still looking and hope to be looking for many years.

The pillow seats next to the window in Kashmir Lounge with an icy pint of Amstel and a pocket full off a days worth of ganja shopping. I could have stayed for about 10 hours.

my fave spot ..theres an alley/walking road that goes down beside popeyes. at the end of this walkway on the canal theres a bench by a bridge. i could sit there for hours and listen to music.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.
