I've had one (similar to the pictures) for years now and it still works as well as the day I bought it...needs cleaning now an then to keep it from sticking but it saves a lot of time picking the weed apart.
Been with me on all but a couple of trips to Amsterdam so i'm surprised I haven't misplace it yet.

~ Is that a grinder in your pocket? ~
I can confirm that i paid a couple of quid for one around 5-6 years ago and still use it to this day. It is especially good with weed that is slightly damp, it works a treat. The metal ones just shred and stretch it a bit and do a half job IMO.
One of my mates paid 40 nicker for one once!!

all CS have grinders for your use but most have plastic and ia hate them bacause they stick and make it hard to grind. you can buy a really cheap metal grinder for about 5 euro and then really have fun. i left a 15 euro grinder (and some really good weed) in the Soft Temple CS next to the dam square. i didnt want the risk of carrying it back with me so i guess now they have a good metal grinder....Boner wrote:I dont bother getting one now as all the CS's have them.
by the way while we r on the subject of grinders do you guys just rip a part off the bud and grind it or do you go through it first checking for seeds and some bad shit?

i dont know about the teeth and i believe boner knows what hes talking about because it looks like he smoked a lot more than me, but from my personal experience a cheap metal grinder (5 euro) will be easyer to grind with and you will get better results with it than with the plastic ones they give in CS's, plus, 5 euro isn't that much and i think it was worth the money for me.dizz hizz wrote:i presume most of the buds being grinded here in AMS require no screening for seeds as the quailty is there!
as for grinders, plastic vs metal - is metal completely worth it? pyramid shaped teeth for the win?
