Bored in A'dam
I am in A'dam now, bored and was wondering if people wanted to get together somewhere sometime and hang out or whatever.

I don't see how you could be bored in Amsterdam but go to a coffeeshop and chat up some people before you know it you will have a friendtrixter wrote:I am in A'dam now, bored and was wondering if people wanted to get together somewhere sometime and hang out or whatever.
When Things Are Down Get High!!
Thanks for the suggestions, but I live here, I have been here for a while, I do not work or go to school so I have a lot of free time on my hands, more than most others. I have done all the touristy things that were suggested here and elsewhere and still I find myself with about 16 hours a day with not much to do. So for those that think its not possible to be bored, I assure you it is quite possible.
It is for those reasons that I am bored, and why I was asking here if anyone was in the area and wanted to hang out or something.

sounds great to me, doesnt go to school, doesnt need to work, just chillin all the day in the Dam, but i do see how you could be bored. Once youve been somewhere too long that just happens, but i still wish i had that problem,
hope you find some thing/one to do
If it wasnt for the brits, ID BE DUTCH RIGHT NOW
Have you looked for any kind of social groups you might be able to join?. In the time you have been in Amsterdam have you not made any friends that you can socialise with?.
If you dont need to work then prehaps you might see if there is any kind of training programs you could do that will lead to other qualifications or to learn something new?. In any case joining something like a training course to learn something new, say a college course or 2 should keep you busy while meeting new people!.
