Dam July-Aug 08

Guys,

I've planned my next trip for the 24th July - 3rd Aug in Adam. The first 4 days are for a mates stag do, but after they go home, I've got another 7 days to continue my coffeshop tour. This will be my 5th trip this year, and the first after the smoking ban.

While out there I'm looking to get as much info on the post smoking ban coffeeshop situation.

I know from speaking to Dave in Hill Street Blues that he is bringing in Vapourizers, I was helping him test the settings on my last trip!!

He also advised that there is a big issue about how the law is going to be enforced. Apparently the police are saying it will be impossible to enforce a pure marihuana only system, because they would have to have someone in every coffeeshop, checking every spliff before it is rolled to make sure it is gear only.

So as of 6th June, there was really still no idea on how the law was to be enforced in the coffeeshops.

Anyone fancy meeting up with me and getting as many coffeeshops updated for this site as possible?

Ive said it before and ill say it again, its impossible to predict the efefct of the smoking ban on coffeeshops until it happens! Only the Americans seem to smoke pure, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Im not in town till end of August I think or id love to meet, sorry. Make sure you report back to us though please!

I'm also quite curious as to what the proposed effects of the ban as I touchdown into AMS on July 5th (a decade since my last AMS visit).

Being American, I also like to just roll pure joints but being a cigarette smoker, I don't mind putting some tobacco and making spliffs as well.

I'll definitely try to post about the post July 1 ban and see what goes down and people's reaction.
