chelsea-

bus from airport to train station, train to dam central (bout and hr n a bit @ 35E)

or just stay in eindhoven, dam aint the only place to smoke, plus it would be less commercial! and alittle cheaper! not that i dont LOVE the dam!!!

It's great if you live down south of cause, but as my local airport is Liverpool the distance to travel for free travel makes it no cheaper for me when doing the sums.

I mean the other end €70 (£58 odd) return to Amsterdam from Eindhoven on the bus (or was that €35 return?), and this end a probable £45 plus on national express makes it far more expensive!. You lucky buggers for living close enough to an airport that has offers like that!!!.

But I'd certainly like the idea of seeing Holland by going in between Eindhoven and Amsterdam.

nice one chelsea!

will use it to book my trains!

my last post was a rough guide, Toke on that said it was what he paid when he was out there earlier in the month.

See what we can do when we put are (stoned) minds together!!!

All we need to do now is find CHEAP accomodation!!

my last stay i booked throu:

www.lovingamsterdam.com

the site is well put together and they use google maps to show you where the b&b's and apartments are!!! + i think they were nice n cheap!

i recommend aprtments, only for the fact you aint gotta sneak food n stuff past the receptionist!! Oh and 90% of the apartments on the site are smoker friendly, mine was so that there was a box of leftover bits, green and hash, grinder rizla n roach!!!

I've looked but can't see the offer...Must have gone I suppose :(

Is there a particular place to look for these offers or are they just listed with the normal flights?

Cheers :)

Just checked their flights for August as thats when I plan to go. £19.98 return and no catches. It would feel unusual not to fly directly into Amsterdam, but at that price, damn, thats all I can say.

Depending on how long ur there, its worth it!! Arrive at airport, on the way to train station stop at coffee shop n pick up some serious smoke!! Its less commercial there so the weed tends to be better!!!!!

Enjoy ur trip!!

One of the drawbacks as I see it is that the flights to Eindhoven are at unsocial hours, either early in the morning or in the evening which has implications either end - bloody early or late arrivals/departures from A'dam to/from Eindhoven.
I s'pose it all depends on where you live as well. Heathrow is easily accessible for me and this years fare hike (double the airfare cost from Heathrow last year) still outweighs the hassle, time and cost of reaching Stansted & Eindhoven for me.
