Amnesia and Extreme were both under construction when I was there, I guess making the changes required before the ban. The woman in extreme said they had it all planned, but were waiting to see how the law would be enforced before splashing the cash on the changes. Going as far as to say she would be willing to take the first fine (400euros i think) before changing the layout of the shop. She said she could have the changes done in 24 hours or before the authorities came back after that first fine. She wasn't happy about it mind you

I think a lot of coffeeshops that do have the space to make the sealed off room will likely wait to see how the ban will be enforced and how the law will deal with the first few coffeeshops prosecuted under the new ban before making the alterations to there coffeeshops?.

The one on Singel, Rokerij II.

Also just heard that Dolphins downstairs bit has been allowed to smoke tobacco. Pure weed upstairs.

Those seats are not outdoors. They only have doors that open up making one side open to the outside. This area would only work as an indoor smoking area if it was closed off to the rest of the inside space.

They don't meet the Dutch definition of outdoor seating in reference to allowing smoking at outdoor cafes.

Why shouldn't I go there?

axeman9, I was only correcting your response that smoking tobacco joints would be allow at the Rokerij Coffeeshop since you thought they had outdoor seating.

Rastababy has a large outdoor smoking area when the weather cooperates. Sensi Coffeeshop has a few outdoor tables.
