I was a little surprised that enforcement did start at midnight last night at both Dolphins Coffeeshop and the Winston, a late night bar which has always been cannabis smoker friendly. Dolphins asked non pure cannabis smokers to go downstairs last night at midnight. The Winston just stamp everyone and made them smoke outside after midnight.dajaxman wrote:so today is the 1st how is the smokling ban holding up

I'm off to the Melkweg tonight to see the Raconteurs. The Melkweg has had signs posted for several days saying no smoking of anything in either concert hall. I've been smoking cannabis in the Melkweg for 35 years and I will miss not smoking a pure joint while listening to the band without going outside!

totally agree about concerts at paradiso , melkweg i will really miss freely smoking catching a show, im off to the melkweg twice in a couple of weeks, and it seems that dont have capacity for a smoking room like the paradiso, so will let people smoke in the foyer or out the front depending on event and influx of crowd.
i was thinking of maybe taking a eagle bill in with me, and kinda hoping everyone is flouting the ban i guess.
