I used a place on Overtoom, I think, last time. Can't remember the name though. Mac's seemed expensive, I've rented from them before.

My wife had one from Mikes Bikes and loved it, it's a beach cruiser style which she found to be more comfortable, good price as well. (she loved it that much she's currently looking into getting one for home now)

I like Bike City. Friendly people, plain black bikes. Some with gears, some with hand brakes. Prices are as good or better than others.

have a blast,
chuck.

Couple years ago, Frederic was 10,- EUR/day and 40,- EUR/week. I would suggest you ride the bike a block or so, before you agree it is "the one." Be sure brakes work, bell works, lights work (the Politie will stop you if your bike does not have lights on at night). Have a glorious time!
