Route 99 which is down an alley just off the Damrak has a large room for smokers - the bar is downstairs now and you can smoke away upstairs!

hi,
Has anyone got an update on the etiquette now in amsterdam regarding smoking of joints? Are there really cofeeshops that are allowing tobacco now, since the ban has been enforced ? Or has everyone been fined for allowing it?

Keep on smokin'

thanks

What this thread is for pretty much. Prehaps axeman might be willing, if he has the time, to colate a full list as the coffeeshops become known for allowing or has setup the allowance of tobacco smoking in his original post to save many from having to read the entire thread?.

I certainly have. The top post on this thread has the c/shops which still allow tobacco. There must be more out there though.....

If anybody has any info on more shops stick em in this thread and i'll update the first page accordingly.

Cheers....

Nes Cafe allows tobacco or joint smoking in entrance room and pure cannabis smoking in rest of bar.

Susies Saloon has a separate room for tobacco or joint smoking.

Nice work guys. Axeman I think on the 1st page you should list the bars that allow tabacco joints (or even pure joints) separate from the c/s. wot you think ?

I think that Stones Cafe on Warmoesstraat can probably be added to the smoker friendly bar list!.

I've always been able to have a splif there with me beer while watching the footy!. Not to sure on the tobacco\pure status but fairly certain they still allow smoking in 1 form or another there!.

I would think the best list of mixed joints friendly coffeeshops & pure or mixed joints allowed in bars would be ones that people have been inside since July 1, 2008 and not just a guess.
