no probs with tobacco in recent trip

Post by templeball »

Id just like to add that just got back last week from a dam exodus and had no probs in ANY coffeeshop using tobacco and saw loads of people doing likewise without hiding fag packs etc (including Grey Area, Bluebird, Katsu, De Graal, Mellow Yellow etc), its obviously one of those daft things where they have to be seen to be doing something about the law...And the helpful Bud tender at MY was joking that they spot the tourists a mile off now as they are the only ones building these horrific pure skunk jays up and then coughing or collapsing... 8) 8) 8)

PS Can anyone tell me how do i get a picture to go alongside my name here when posting, dying to get a temple ball Jpeg to go alongside..

i was brought up by a terse irishman...are there any other kind then?
I sat and spun joints with tobacco on the bar in 420 with all my materials on the bar, also smoked unchallenged in dampkring, mellow yellow and a few more but don't ask where i was slaughtered.

Tobacco and weed/hash

Post by SeniorHippies »

Since I don't want to get anyone in trouble I won't use the names of the shops I visited on my last trip. I will say, though, I saw not a single place where there was compliance with the tobacco exclusion rules. I could be wrong, of course, if all those people were smoking those big ole Euro style joints. I saw one guy borrow or buy a cigarette from the bud-tender just to roll up. I don't smoke tobacco, and have always rolled American style pure joints, with or without hash, but I do not object to other people cigarettes or joints rolled with it. I think I do see more people smoking pipes and bongs these days.

Many of the CS's I went into on my last trip a week or so ago were saying that If you wanted to smoke Cigarettes only then you had to go into the special smoking areas, if you wanted to mix tobacco and weed/hash you could just sit in the main coffeshop. However there are others such as coffeeshop Little that were enforcing a complete ban on tobacco.

Kashmir Lounge can be added to the list of tobacco friendlies.
I would much rather be happy than right any time.

When i was there in Jan 2009, pretty much all the coffeeshops we strict on the policy. I'm happy that they cooled down. It's the dutch way! :D

Little didnt bat an eyelid when I skinned up with a fag, but the bud tender looked so bored I dont think he could care about anything, its all that hip hop 24/7, damaging his brain. :)

As a non-cigarette smoker but who has used some tobacco for donkeys years in joints, I personally am delighted with the new rules, especially now common sense prevails and we can all just get on with skinning up with a wee bit of tobacco, and the smelly old fag smokers have to stand out side! Life is sweet sometimes. Its a bit farcical though isnt it?
