I'm not sure about Abraxas, while I was in there there were signs everywhere saying that anything containing tobacco must be smoked outside, which is what I did. I didn't venture to the upstairs area so it could be a case of staff turning a blind eye.
Green Place has a smoking room although you must purchase there to smoke in there, the weed from green place was high quality so i didn't mind, however a lot of the other shops with much worse weed seem to be employing the same tactic - 'To use the smoking room you must buy weed or hash from here'. I wasn't a fan of this and decided to spend a lot of time on terraces, although obviously in the winter this would be a problem.

Also, The grasshoper on Nieuwezeids Vorrburgwal allows tobacco smoke in their conservatory type area and No smoking at all in the bar area, although be warned it cost me 4.50e for a very small cup of lemonade and NEVER buy weed or hash here!

Coffeeshop Reefer a couple of doors down from Bluebird had a big sign in the window saying 'Large smoking room upstairs' although I didn't enter for fear of being forced into buying more weed for my already full pockets!

A few Shops had smoker Kabins like Rusland, Green place, but any shop i was in it was no prob smoking mixjoints. Anyone was doing that, the only difference is to hide the tobacco. Dont show any ciggies on the table or in the ashtray, dont smoke normal cigarettes. That technique seems to be the policy of the Coffeeshops. The dealer from Dampkring 2 explained this to me.
The smoking ban seems no big problem for the CS, if the politicians let them do so.

Yeah I do realise that but asking if coffeeshops allow the replacement tobaco is just stupid as it's not banned.

On my recent trip most shops were fine with smoing tobacco as long as you kept the cigs off the table etc.

Coffeeshops which actually said its ok :
Barneys Haarlemerstraat
Tweeder Kamer
Mellow Yellow

Coffeeshops that turned a blind eye :
Greenhouse Haarelmerstraat
The Coin
Hunters

Coffeeshops with smoking rooms for tobacco :
Dolphins
Resin
Dampkring (Pink Floyd)

Generally I just vaped and also used Dutch Spirit smoking mix instead of tobacco, much nicer and free in many coffeeshops!

Forgot to add that Rokerij were selling pre-rolled joints made with the Dutch Spirit smoking blend which seemed fairly popular.

So, can you actually smoke tobacco in Mellow Yellow? Or do they just turn a blind eye? Puffin...... You frequent MY, could you confirm this please?

Cheers for the info Jayk. I`m just a bit concerned that some of the places listed just turn a blind eye or dont care about tobacco. I would not like to get the shop or myself in trouble for putting baccy in my reefers thats all.

I don't think it's wise to be naming the places that 'turn a blind eye' or have let ppl smoke tobacco even though they weren't legally setup to do so.
