Post Smoking Ban ACD update

Post by SoulRider »

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to the, but been using the maps here for a while, visiting Adam.

I am on a quest to try and get ACD updated with as much information as possible about the coffeeshops post smoking ban.

If any of you would like to help me out, please try and get the information detailed below, so we can get as much uptodate information as we can.

Coffeeshop Name

Does it have any of the following?

Smoking room for mixed spliffs?

Outdoor smoking area?

Alternative Methods (ie Vaporiser, Tobacco Substitues, Space Cakes etc)

Here's the subjective bit..

What is the atmosphere like post smoking ban?

Comments

I myself am going out from the 24th July to the 5th August, my trip plan is here:

Would love for people to help take part.

Can't really tell yet about the atmosphere as it's the first week of a month. But I aint overly optimistic about it.

Yes I tried a few actually.
Most good coffeshops all have this tobacco substitute for free use in bowles on the bartables.

Im not 100% sue but I think Rokerijj, the one with all the tiny pillow chairs had pre rolled with it. Im kinda sure

Yesterday I walked into my local coffeeshop, and I asked the shopkeeper the following:

"Do you guys smoke tobacco in here?"

"Yep and we are not going to stop"

I was in the Dam from June 30th to July 4th and visited several coffee shops. In the Rokerijj they had containers of tobacco substitute on the tables that you could use in your joints. In all the shops I visited I had tobacco in my joints and no one said anything to me. It certainly doesn't seem that the ban is being enforced. One of my friends was even smoking cigarettes in a few shops and no one even blinked.

Just back myself. Most coffee shops supplied herbal mix to smoke in your joints. One coffee shop (CS36) still allowed tobacco smoking inside. As long as it was in a joint , if you wanted a cig you had to go outside with that.

We went last week and I can tell you the following:

Greenhouse: No smoking area, smoking outside or with the tobacco-substitute you can use for free

Dampkring: No smoking area (only in Pink Floyd, but the smoking area on the 2nd floor wasnt open when we visited), smoking outside

Mellow Yellow: no smoking area so far, smoking outside, Vaporizer available for free

Noon: no smoking area, smoking outside, I dont know if they have a Vaporizer as well, otherwise just go to MY and tell them you bought some from Noon, they will let you use it for sure

Blues Brothers: no smoking area, tobacco substitute for free

This goes for 90% of the shops we visited, I will do a full report this week.

what do you mean for free? last time i was there you had to buy some weed or hash there to use the vaporizer (not that it bothered me, i was meaning to get some SSH there anyway, i just wanted to try the vapo with some other weed before i put S.S.H. from MY in it)

Theminwaders, I know that myself, since we visited the shop you named ourselfes, but I would really ask you to remove the name, since I dont want that shop to get in trouble....pls think about it, maybe not only cannabis-lovers are reading here.
