space cakes to go?
space cakes to go?
I'm about to go to Amsterdam for the first time and I'd like to try space cake. Is there a "space cake etiquette"? Does it matter if I eat it at the coffee shop or is it ok taking it to go? This forum and the FAQ's have been so informative and amazing!

Once you purchase them, they are yours to consume when and where you please.
For first timers I suggest reading and heeding S G Collins great site:
How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.
What dates will you be in Amsterdam? I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
Enjoy

yep, as FBN said. you certanly dont have to stay where you are to consume them. Seeing as it takes anything up to 90 mins to work, you'd be there for a long time if you had to stayFlyByNite wrote:Welcome to the forum.

most coffeeshops offer them, make sure you ask how much weed is in them, as ive had hugely diffferent strengths from different places.
my favouirte thing to do with them, is have it just before u check in at the airport, that way your mashed for the flight, and can enjoy my i-pod that little bit more.
i wouldnt recommend that for a first timer though, i can't imagine 'whitying' is fun at an airport or even worse on a plane.

Where is the best place to go for space cake?
I've had one from Popeye which was delicious, route 99 and homegrown fantasy - none were all that strong. I really would like to make my own, I remember reating a home made one years ago and it sent me into a different world (very very strong) I want to get like that again! I was not such an experienced smoker then - the ones they sell in coffeeshops I have generally found to be pretty weak
